i . INFECTION.

• 1. YOU ARE INFECTED. It could be days, hours, or even minutes before you turn. Do you keep it to yourself and pray for a cure? Or do you hand your weapon over and trust your friend to put you down before you can hurt anyone else.
• 2. YOU KNOW. At least, you're pretty sure. They've been getting thinner, weaker, and the temperature that they're running can't be good. How do you proceed?
• 3. THEY'RE STILL HUMAN. These zombies are still people, you're the only one that sees it. You just can't take the killing anymore. Or maybe you just want to KILL THEM ALL. You're sick of these things. They're already dead, there's nothing human left in those eyes - you're a zombie killing machine.
• 4. IT'S YOU OR ME. There's no way the two of you can get out of here alive. Are you a good enough friend to let them go, or are you the sort to ensure that you only have to outrun them.
• 5. ABOMINATION. You've handled everything you've come across so far, but this is just wrong. Be it a baby, an animal, or a horrific mutation that grants it special powers - this one is throwing you for a loop.
• 6. NOT YOU. You recognize that one. Maybe it's a family member, a close friend, a lover, or a co-worker - you know who they are. Do you have the strength to do what needs to be done?

ii . SUPPLIES.

• 1. NOTHING LEFT. You're running out of almost everything. You've only got enough to feed one person now. Do you give it up, or are you ready to kill so that you may survive?
• 2. FOOD RUN. You and your buddy are all that stands between your group and cannibalism. Better hop to it.
• 3. ROTTEN. It's sat out too long and now everything is bad. You might have eaten it before you realized how rotten it was and now you're paying the price.
• 4. STOCKED. You found the ideal hideout and you want for nothing.

iii. YOU AGAINST THE WORLD

• . YOU'VE GOT A PLAN. You can protect your team, but it might cost you your life.
• 2. IMPROVISED WEAPONRY. They're closing in and you've got to think fast.
• 3. MUTINY. You're tired of their authority. You can do a better job.
• 4. ESCAPE. That city was getting too full, you've hotwired and tricked out a vehicle and now you're getting the hell out of dodge. Any zombie causalities are completely intentional.
• 5. SURROUNDED. Your safe space isn't so safe. They're on all sides of you and you're starting to run out of ammo.
• 6. NEVER ENDING ROAD TRIP. You've been in this car for ages, everyone is getting tired, and you're not sure where a safe rest stop is.
• 7. YOU WERE IN ON IT. You're safe in the head office of EVIL INC. and nothing can go wrong. Unless that clumsy scientist knocks that vial over, or unless one of your co-workers goes mad with the guilt. Or maybe you didn't know what you were getting into, maybe you've switched sides and you two aim to fix this mess.
• 8. ONLY ONES LEFT. Everyone else is dead. You're all that's left in the world. Where do you go from here?

[She says it as if it were obvious and inevitable, like saying that he'd have to study for a test. As usual, the child is cold when she discusses grim concepts.

They haven't found any scratches or bite marks on her, so it's entirely possible that her symptoms are from the flu. It is winter, after all. But regardless, Alessa understands their situation.

They're in a tiny RV they were able to find in the town when they cut and ran. Alessa lies in the only bed, wrapped in all the blankets and clothes they have, and still, her skin is clammy and she shivers. They have enough food and water for Alex to stretch out for maybe a week if he didn't have a potentially infected seven-year-old to worry about. It's simple logic to her--while her 'abilities' are useful, they aren't useful enough to justify her consumption of resources in her condition.

Her teeth chatter, and it pains her to move so much as an inch out from under her pile of cloth.]

[Wiccan was running on empty, just about. The hordes were getting ever closer, always growing. For every one they knocked down, ten more seemed to take its place. Their group had been dwindling for the past few weeks. sometimes, one by one; other times, they would pick up three or four new people, only to lose them all in the space of an hour. Connections stopped meaning anything to them, and soon enough, it was down only to Billy and Henry.

For the time being it seemed that there weren't any of the infected around. The occurrence was a rare reprieve, one that Billy at least usually used to try and rest, get their bearings, and search for food. The only problem was they were on an endless stretch of abandoned interstate road, with nothing but the desert surrounding them from either side. An earlier search of their food reserve had run dry or rotten, and they were on their last jug of water. The only thing that seemed to be a sign of hope was the working car they found. It was old, but so far it had been reliable.]

[Dante was used to dealing with swarms of demons. Zombies were nothing against the creatures of hell. She's bested three-headed dogs, giant frogs, evil horses with carriages that shoot missiles and even her twin sister. Zombies were easy.

Her skills with her guns and that sword on her back helped out a lot as well. She walked around town, picking off the undead creatures when she saw them, protecting innocent people as they tried to find the needed supplies to survive.

That's when she ran into him. She was simply walking down the street and noticed something behind him. Without a word, she drew one of the two guns on her back and shot the creature three times.]

You've got to pay better attention to your surroundings, buddy.

[Who knows why Amy and Quinn were the ones who went to get supplies in the city. Other members of their small camp were scattered around looking for more supplies. Shane and Daryl looking for ammo, T-Dog and Andrea looking for medical supplies and apparently Amy and Quinn looking for food supplies. Everything was going pretty well and they had managed to find a convenience store which they're currently raiding for as much as they can carry.

Suddenly they hear movement behind them. Amy turns quickly and raises the gun in her hand. Damn, she's never used a gun before in her life but in an emergency she's more than willing to try. There's a walker ambling towards them. Damn, they left the door open! She shoots and thankfully hits the zombie...but now it's going to attract others.]

Quick, help me barricade this door with something!

[The zombie apocalypse smelled a lot better in movies. As it turns out, rotting flesh roaming the streets wantonly murdering everything? Kind of rank.

Worse than that? No cable. And then Warren was off who-knew-where probably getting his face mauled off. Hanging out in an old bomb shelter munching on cheetos was getting kind of boring.]

This sucks. How long until Buffy undoes all this?

Okay. Dionysus had never been one of the violent Gods. Vindictive, yes. Mad, insane, prone to a massive flip of whims and a dangerous sense of justice and humor. But never exactly bursting with the fiery rage that ran through the blood of his family.

But there came a point in time where survival overruled every other impulse and he was not going to sit around idly and watch these mindless scavengers destroy the planet he had wandered for so long.

An Ivy vine whipped out of the ground, dragging one of the creatures off it's feet and slamming it into a pair of its fellows.

[ Irene Adler wasn't exactly sure how this entire scenario played out. She was actually certain it was different, in her mind.

Though at one point, she was also certain she was going completely insane. Which hadn't meant her survival instinct wouldn't kick in. They had; this wasn't any situation where she could blackmail, or twist useful information in her favor; hardly. At least when at first, she reacted by running - an instinctive reaction to flee when the odds were clearly not in her favor - the situation had taken a severe turn for the worse when she decided it would be a grand idea to turn into the decrepit cafe.

Which lead her to the current predicament. She was followed in by two hideous undead, and no conventional weapon to defend herself with. There were her shoes, high heeled and sharp stilettos. Better than nothing, she supposed, and keeping a barstool between her and those things also seemed like a good - albeit temporary - plan.

Honestly, she would've preferred her riding crop.

Though behind them, she did think she saw a flicker of deep red. It was a momentary thought, right before she swung her heel into the side of a skull. ]

[What the hell had happened over the past month or so? I'll tell you what happened, the world went to shit. Andrea had a pretty good life before this happened. She was a pretty successful lawyer with amazing parents and sister. Now she's lost all of that. Here they are, a small group camped out in the middle of no where. At least they have supplies but does that really make up for everything else they've lost?]

Well at least we're not going to starve to death.

[ The Eden Vaccine was meant to save people. And it did, for a time. It wasn't until the first successful patient, a twelve-year-old girl named Annie, killed her parents while vacationing in Florida. Then a male university student was found dead in his London flat, traces of his girlfriend's teeth and fingernail marks all over his mauled body.

Janet had closely followed the news, along with SHIELD investigations into the matter. Just as they were piecing things together, disaster struck, and the entire world was under attack. The Eden Vaccine turned millions upon millions of humans into flesh-hungry superbeings and there was only so much SHIELD, or anyone, could do. ]

[ Nothing was secure it seemed. Even the most secure buildings seemed to pick up the infection somehow. Fury had his hands full with directing where people went and how.]

[When the infection infiltrated the main base, Coulson stepped in and sent orders to the Agents there to take care of it. The place was a mess and trying to get people out alive seemed almost impossible.]

[At some point power was cut from the base, knocked out with only dim lights of back up generators kicking in. Some parts of the building stronger then others but others left in the dark, an ope invitation to be attacked.]

[Walk-running down a hall way with two agents in flack jackets behind him he moved swiftly, gun at the ready, small flash light held out, scanning a corridor. He gave a small nod and wave to the other two, to check the door on his right. They were currently moving through the halls checking and securing doors, looking for uninfected, unwounded people, and trying to gain some form of order with the survivors. Radio communication was a MESS right now, so that wasn't helping either.]
