(It had seemed like a pretty great idea like a time.

It had seemed promising of brilliant humor that could be retold for generations to come. It probably would have been funnier if other people were actually around to witness this. As it were, everyone else had slipped off to go to bed for the night which had left Josh and Mike alone in the kitchen sharing a bottle of vodka. It was damn good vodka and for that very reason, neither of them had wanted to see it go to waste. The logic of just finishing it another night was simply not up for discussion. Mike can't actually remember who had suggested it. Maybe it was Josh. Josh could be real fucking weird sometimes but then again, so could Mike. So maybe it was Mike.

It didn't actually matter though. They had laughed like morons and Mike wasn't nearly as drunk as he was acting. He drank enough that the couple sips of vodka were making his vision only a little bit dizzy.

Josh and him hunkered down onto the nearest couch and turned to face each other. Mike felt giddy with the stupidity of a challenge that he was driven to win. He places his open palm against his chest, presenting Josh with what he knew to be as his most charming smile. The genuine lady-killer of a smile that was stupidly attractive on him and the son of a bitch knew it was.)
