rescue romance.
![]() They saved you. It doesn't matter what from - captivity, danger, an unwanted "relationship," certain destruction - and, in the end, it doesn't even matter if they rescued you on purpose or if you were freed on accident, as an extension of what they do, as a duty, because you're a commodity, or just to screw with whoever had you in their clutches (the enemy of my enemy, and all that). A part of you feels like you owe them, despite it all. But soon enough, "feelings" become the problem. Like some kind of twisted yet somehow more positive version of Stockholm syndrome, your heart opens, you warm up, your emotions muddle...still, do they mirror you, or are is this another way for you to be hurt?

I think we've lost them for now.

Unlikely. They could see us well enough to shoot at us.
[ Her point being that their position was most likely not unknown to the enemy. ]

Let us wait until they have gone past then I'll help get that arrow out. [He kept his back against the wall of the bridge and didn't hear any footsteps nor any arrows hitting the bridge.]

I suppose we have little choice.

I can have Grey Wind distract them whilst we find some shelter away from here.
