Marriage Consummation
![]() The Marriage Consummation Meme a smut meme |
The wedding bells have rung - or the correct sacrifices have been made, depending on your culture. Whatever the case may be, you're married now, and the night is yours. However, there is one expectation on you: it's time to consummate the marriage. Whether you're in love, in this marriage because it was arranged, or absolutely in hate with your new spouse, you're with them now. Have you two been intimate before this, or is your first time...with them or first time period? Do you know what you want and are you full of lust, or do you have no clue what's going on? Maybe you even have to seduce your partner who wants nothing to do with this! ...or, most forbidden of all, you're not the one getting married to this person. You just have to be with them on their wedding night, because you want them no matter what!

great! let me know if this works, I can switch to prose if preferred
But Hoster Tully had secured an alliance through marriage with the Starks - and while one son was dead, another still remained to honor the betrothal. With both houses still in mourning, Catelyn wore dark colors on her wedding day to Eddard Stark, a heavy fur slung across her shoulders to represent the cold home that would now be hers at Winterfell. Winter is coming. They were words foreign to her, and yet she was a Stark now - they were a truth she would have to adopt as her own.
The festivities are still going on when the two of them are sent upstairs - but even those cheers are somewhat sobered by the recent pangs of loss. Eddard had neither father or brother to stand by his side as they'd spoken their vows - and even the time Catelyn will spend with him will be short, as he is set to ride to join Robert Baratheon within a fortnight.
She stands in the center of the room, drawing her cloak around her shoulders, and realizes for all she knew about Brandon, she knows even less about his brother - a man who stands silent and solemn behind her, the noise of the revelry downstairs shut out as the door is closed tight. ]

Are you alright? Would you like a drink or something to eat? [He wanted to make sure she was comfortable and wanted to get to know her better.]

And now he was going off to war - but the responsibility of continuing the line fell to the both of them now. If he were to die and leave her without a child in her belly, it would all be for naught.
She glanced up at him and shook her head slowly, with a polite smile. ] I believe everyone down there is still eating and drinking enough for the both of us. [ In truth she had barely touched her food, too full of nerves about what lay ahead of them to think about eating. ]

You know, I'm not one for grand tourneys or large occasions. I'd rather just sharpen my sword with a whetstone underneath the tree in the Godswood. [Did he just admit that? Yes, he did. He was a truthful man and didn't care if she found out what sort of man he was, since he wanted to be as honest as possible with her.]

She turned back to look at him, her long red hair swaying over one shoulder, light eyes reflecting her surprise and the dancing firelight. She had never given much thought to him before - but there were hidden depths she was only just starting to glimpse for herself. ] Is it lovely there? The Godswood? [ She had married into a family that worshiped the Old Gods, though House Tully had always practiced the Faith. ]
no subject
Yes, it is. I often sit there for hours just watching the lake in front of me and hearing the wind whistle through the leaves. [He wanted to take Cat down there. He wanted her to see and hear what he was saying.]
I'd like to take you down to the Godswood one day. You'll like it, I know you will. [He offered her a smile and let his hand rest upon her shoulder.]

His hand was warm on her shoulder, large and calloused from years of handling a sword. She turned to him, drawing in a soft breath. ]
You speak as if you know what the future will be.
[ She had imagined she would marry Brandon, and now he was gone. She did not know if she could bear to hear more assurances when their lives felt full of so much uncertainty. ]
no subject
I do not know what the future will be but I promise you we will visit the Godswood together, Catelyn. [He clasped both her hands in his rough ones and felt an over powerful urge to kiss her. Would she wish it at this time?]

She was suddenly very conscious of his proximity; it had been a distant thought in her mind when they had been seated at the head of the table together, keeping to their own space. But now it was just the two of them. Her gaze lifted to his face slowly, tentatively. ] And claim each other as husband and wife in the eyes of the Old Gods and the New.
no subject
Aye. [He uttered his response softly and leaned closer to press a kiss to her soft lips. He wanted to get used to being this close with her, to inhale her familiar scent, to feel her warm skin next to his. All things a husband should feel with his wife.]

Her heart was pounding in her chest, and it took her a moment to know how to respond, but eventually she did, one of her hands rising to gently cup his cheek, feeling the bristles of his beard under her fingertips. She broke away slowly, opening her eyes to gaze at him - blue into brown. She was overwhelmed by the sudden need she possessed for him to take her into his arms. ]

He touched her cheek with his thumb and pressed another kiss to her lips.]
no subject
She had never kissed a man - though Petyr had tried to steal kisses, when they were young. But this was different, the firm press of a mouth against her own, and she swayed in against him, kissing him back with a soft sound. ]

Would you prefer me to undress you or would you like to do it yourself? [He had to ask out of honesty and naivety. He didn't want to presume that she wanted him to do it, as he knew she had hand maidens to perform such a task. Women seldom let men undress them, unless they were married or were lovers.
Ned shrugged off his wolf furs and laid them beside Cat's. He removed his heavy boots and set them on the floor.]

[ The ties that kept her in the dress ran down the back, and she carefully gathered her auburn hair to one side to bring it over her shoulder, turning away from him. ] They are difficult to reach.
no subject
Damn....why do these ties have to be so difficult? [He muttered under his breath, as he eventually untied her dress to view the soft flesh underneath.]
Forgive me, my lady. I have never unlaced a woman's dress before.
no subject
She turned around to face him, mirth in her eyes - but her hands steadied themselves against his chest as she looked up. ]
And I have never had a man unlace my dress before. So we are of the same mind in this, I think.
no subject
Thank you for allowing me to do this. [He felt like he had to thank her, as most men would just rip their wife's dress off and be done with it. Yet, Ned wanted to take things slow and savour the moment. This moment between them was very special. He allowed his hands to ghost along her revealed shoulders and pushed the dress further down her body, until the top half of her was revealed to him.]
no subject
In spite of the fire warming the room, she resisted the urge to shiver as he eased the dress down over her arms, leaving a new expanse of skin exposed to the open air. Her hair was long enough to cover her breasts, falling all the way down to her waist, but she had to will herself not to shield herself with her arms, leaving her body open for his perusal. ]

He didn't want to rush things and certainly didn't want to cause her to be nervous.]
no subject
It was his name that fell from her lips - not Brandon's, not even the name that she had uttered when she had spoken her vows, but the name his family called him. The name his wife would call him. ] Ned.

Cat. [He uttered her own name in a deep whisper then brought up both her hands in his and kissed them. She was his now and he would protect her with his life and his honour. No one or nothing would take her away from him. Not even the rebellion.
He allowed her hands to fall at her sides, as he continued to explore the top half of her body. He kissed her collarbone then moved to place a kiss on her right breast, allowing his tongue to slide slowly over her perked nipple.]
