Warning: Be aware that this meme deals with dark subjects like slavery and may also contain non-consensual/dubiously consensual sex, violence, and kink.
SLAVES
1. The Newbie - This is your very first auction and you don't quite know what to expect. Hopefully you remember your training and don't disgrace yourself in front of your new master. Hopefully someone thinks you're worth buying at all.
2. The Oldtimer - You've been bought and sold and bought again so many times. You've seen it all before and don't think this time is going to be much different. In fact, the only real anxiety you've got is whether or not someone's going to pay for a more than slightly used slave.
3. The Pet - You're a pleasure slave. A bed warmer. A decorative piece of artwork. You're meant to look pretty and be pleasing and not much else.
4. The Guard - Your master hired you because of your ability to swing a sword or shoot a gun, not your looks.
5. The Escape Artist - Somehow you always manage to squirm out of your master's chains. Too bad you seem to get caught after a while. Maybe your next daring escape will be permanent. Then again, maybe your next master has special ways of keeping you locked up.
6. The Undercover - You aren't a slave at all, you're just pretending to be one. Why? Well that's up to you. Either way, your cover is blown if you don't act the part.
7. The Specialist - You have a skill that no one else has. Something rare and valuable. Something your master needs more than anything else.
MASTERS
1. The Customer - You've owned slaves before and this trip to the market is nothing new to you. Still, you're hoping to find something worth your while.
2. The Gift - Someone bought a pet for you, isn't that nice of them? Or maybe it isn't so nice. Did you even want a slave in the first place? Well you're stuck with one now.
3. The Giver - You're selecting a slave for someone else, and they need to be perfect. Perhaps you'd better test them out first to make sure you're getting your money's worth.
4. The Trainer - You specialize in taming unruly slaves and making them over into perfect, obedient, well-trained pets.
5. The Rebel - You hate the idea of slavery, but the system isn't going to go away any time soon, so the next best thing is to buy up any slave you can get your hands on and free them, right?
6. The Companion - You want someone to be with you always, someone you can talk to and depend on, someone who will never leave your side. It's a good thing that money can buy that these days.
7. The Undercover - You're not actually a Master. You're at the auction for an entirely different reason. Maybe it's special policework, maybe you're trying to hunt down a certain someone. Either way, your cover is blown unless you act the part.
As always, feel free to use a combination of scenarios or make up your own if you have other ideas.

The slave owners hadn't taken very kindly to that, and Thor had reluctantly bid and paid for Loki. Now he was on his way to retrieve him, his extreme lack of amusement obvious on his face as his shackled brother was shoved roughly at him. He didn't speak yet, just sweeping back down the hallways and expecting the other to follow.]
no subject
Still, it baffled him that he remained in these bonds, chains that Thor should have broken as soon as ownership —Ownership! The atrocity of those mortals, as if a god may be bought and owned by measly mortals!— was handed. At the very least, remove the horrible muzzle they placed on him, it stank of metal and locked his tongue. ]
no subject
His anger has faded now, replaced instead with exhaustion, not of the body, but of the mind. He approaches his brother, yanking off the muzzle and just surveying him silently for a long moment. Finally, he gestures towards the bed.]
Sit.
no subject
Slowly, he raised an eyebrow. ]
And the chains?
[ With that collar with the ancient runes binding his powers, he cannot remove them himself.
He also made no move for the bed. ]
dropping off to sleep, but will continue in the morning! <3
Sit, and I will remove them. Can I trust you to stay here once you are freed?
Good night! Take your time, I generally tag only in the evenings anyway.
[ Loki spread his hands, or attempted to, but the clunky clattering of chains and the short length put an end to his seemingly innocent gesture.
Of course he would not disappear off to seek vengeance on the mortals who dared to imprison a prince. No, that was an absurd thing that his hurt pride needed no part of at all.
Slowly, he shuffled backwards and sat on the edge of the bed. ]

It's hard to trust Loki, after everything. As much as Thor wants to, he refuses to allow his brother to make a fool of him again.]
By mortal law, you belong to me now. [He met Loki's gaze, a twinkle of amusement in his eyes.]
no subject
Do we abide by Midgardian laws now?
Should I... [ His voice suddenly dropping to a seductive purr, Loki placed an overly gentle hand on his brother's ran it up the thunder god's muscled arm. ] ...address you 'Master'?
no subject
What is it you want from me?
[Because there's no way Loki's not playing at something, acting like this.]
no subject
[ He continued running his hand up Thor's arm until it reached the shoulders, then from it, slowly dropped down to his chest. He stood, leaning into Thor's personal space as his hand continued running down the thunder god's armor. ]
I am merely behaving as slaves on Midgard do for their masters.
no subject
Loki...
no subject
But isn't this what you want? My calling you master... It's all part of your ownership of me.
no subject
Stop this. This game you play...I do not understand it.
no subject
[ He looked up, coy, teasing, but with a spark of anger in his green eyes. ] It's what you want.
no subject
I want you to return, yes. But this...I have never asked this of you, nor will I ever.
no subject
[ Rounding on Thor, Loki got up as well. The facade of coyness was gone and the barely suppressed rage of his humiliation was bubbling near the surface. ]
Get this cursed mortal collar off my neck and let me leave! I will not return to Asgard with you.
no subject
Have you not proven through this that you cannot go anywhere without finding trouble? It is not only to protect others, but to protect you, that I must take you back.
no subject
[ He folded his arms behind him and stood defiantly against his brother. ]
Asgard is no protection for me. That land has no place for me now. If you wish to take me back to that one-eyed fool so you may complete your duty, then say so, but do not dress it up with pretty words that have no meaning.
no subject
[He reaches out for him, taking him by the arm.] We trusted each other once. I would have us do so again.
no subject
And I would not. You would trust what I am? You will be the laughing stock of all of Asgard to do so foolish a thing. [ Loki looked away as he adopted a tone of bored indifference. ]
There is no trust left between us and there never can be again.
no subject
[There's obvious reluctance in his voice, but he intends to do what is right for Asgard.]
no subject
Asgard laws hold no power over me. Or have you forgotten, Asgardians only deal with the Jotun in one manner.
