The Adolescent Sexual Experimentation Meme

The Adolescent Sexual Experimentation Meme

Though the concept of "adolescence" is a relatively new one, the nebulous age between the onset of puberty and the age of majority has almost always been a time for changes. A young person's body as well as their mind is changing, but most importantly, they are on their way to becoming a sexually mature adult. Often times, these adolescents may feel the desire to express themselves in this intimate way and experiment with others their own age. This may happen in a safe environment, but not always. Depending on the time and place, these sort of activities may be viewed as harmless or the ultimate taboos, especially if the desired person or act is otherwise "deviant." Still, that doesn't change the fact that the urge, more likely than not, is very, very present.

How to Play
-This meme is for sexual exploration between inexperienced, underaged characters. The point is for character growth, awkwardness, sweetness, or fluff, not necessarily sexiness.
-All characters should be 18 and under or taken from a canon point where they are (ie, canon!Dean Winchester isn't applicable to this meme, but pre-canon teen!Dean is).
-All characters, human or not, within the correct age range are welcome.
-When commenting, please include your preferences.
-Comment to other characters.

[OH GOOD, because I've been contemplating how to slip Abe into DnA already so expect some tl;dr /// As for scenario: after a long time without actual pitching practice Furuya gets excited for it. Like more excited than he realizes he is. Teenage bodies, what can you do.

So Abe thinks to pull him off somewhere before anyone else looks down and sees.]

[I AM EXCITE FOR YOUR TEALDEER, dear. And ahaha, that's a flawless setup. He does get kind of passionate about it, huh? Thank heaven for his catcher. And, well. Sorry Abe >.>]

( ooc: He does this because he cares :') Poke me if anything should be changed, or just make adjustments in your tag whateva whateva! )

[Abe flat out refused to catch for him after the first time. That first pitch, heavier than he'd expected, coming too fast, not aimed at the mitt...

It harmlessly ricocheted off, but you wouldn't have been able to tell by the way Abe glared at Furuya afterward. He himself didn't even realize how he was looking at him, only that he hated what it reminded him of. Abe hated that he'd been reminded period. There's no way he could catch that— he had thrown out the excuse like it was true, and that was that.

It took a while to move beyond the awkward avoidance they then settled into. This was helped in no small part through meddling by the older catchers, of course. Abe watched them with special attention, eager to absorb anything he could learn from Chris and Miyuki, so it was easy to tease him. Miyuki somehow managed to show off when catching for Furuya and the younger catcher happened to be around (Don't ask how that worked. No one else would understand but Abe knew).

When Abe stubbornly refused to be anything less than difficult, there came the ace in the hole: Miyuki flat out telling Abe he knew he was better than this.

(There were dokis of the 'senpai noticed me' kind. Abe slapped himself for it as soon as he was alone.)

There wasn't a complete 180, as Abe acted the same during practice. Only on the off hours (out of sight of Miyuki) did he begin to hound Furuya, asking to catch for him and not letting up until he agreed. Then? Then it wasn't long before he was catching for him like there had never been any giant bump to overcome in the first place.

They're even paired together today. After a long time of focus on basics and fielding, they're finally being allotted some actual pitching practice. Abe figures Furuya prefers Miyuki for this; he assumes that for all of them save perhaps Tanba. After all, Abe's just a first year catcher without exceptional ability and Miyuki is the very reason they have two freshmen pitchers. It's just facts, not the work of any feelings of inferiority. That would be silly.

Though Furuya's excited for it anyway, of course. So much so that Abe can tell just being near him as he starts putting on his catcher's gear, as if the pitcher is radiating his energy. That kind of love for pitching is something Abe can't help but respect. He smirks, glancing over to him.

And abruptly stops smirking. Christ, that... seriously?? Furuya is so excited to pitch he's pitching a tent!!

Abe glances around the area as he reverses his actions, taking off his gear to approach Furuya.]

Leave the mitt. We're going to the bathroom.

[Now says his tone. Abe continues to walk past him a couple steps, his hand trailing behind and held up in a 'follow me' gesture.]

[personal profile] staminaroll 2015-02-05 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
[With any other pitcher, that reaction from a catcher probably would've stung, but this is Furuya. He's more accustomed to nasty looks from catchers than he is to pretty much anything else, so Abe's glare just joined the gallery of glares in his memory. He was here for Miyuki, anyway, not some other first year who would only want the same thing everyone else wanted--to slow him down, back him off.

If the sensation of being rejected by someone he'd hoped might be a peer in the long term was a little different than other rejections, well, it was still just rejection. At least he hadn't called him a name.

Then came the first time Abe approached him after dinner, asking if he wants him to catch for him. Furuya looked around until his eyes landed on Miyuki, then he just shook his head. Abe didn't like him. Why would he throw to someone who didn't like him when he could throw to someone who did? The fact that he even had a choice between those two things was enough to make him stubborn about it. (As if he wasn't already stubborn in the first place purely for stubbornness's sake.)

Abe didn't stop asking, though, and eventually he caught Furuya on a night when Miyuki somehow vaporized from the dining hall. The agreement had been as begrudging as Furuya could muster while still being asked to throw to a waiting mitt. After the first time, it got easier to say yes. He continued to prefer Miyuki when he could get him but there was no denying Sawamura was high maintenance and Abe was willing.

And he wasn't a bad catcher or anything.

And maybe he didn't dislike Furuya as much as Furuya thought. Maybe. He's still a bit guarded about it but today, it doesn't matter if Abe hates his guts. He's finally getting to pitch again. Not just fielding but Abe in full gear, Furuya with his eyes on the mound... Finally.

It's enough to make Furuya light-headed. The Tokyo heat has that effect on him but something seems different today. He's trying to shake it off, this unexpected giddy tension, when Abe's voice breaks through to him, sharp and impatient.

Furuya's tempted to dig his heels in--he even does dig his cleats in for a moment--but Abe's a catcher and they're finally starting to get along. After a beat, he starts after Abe.]

Why?
catches_flies: (I'm not changing nobody!)

[personal profile] catches_flies 2015-02-05 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
[Abe would be ready to drag him if he had to. Thankfully, Furuya seems willing to come along without a fuss and so the catcher starts off toward the building.]

You need a break. Trust me, it's for your good.

[This looks really odd, though, when the two of them should be practicing. Sawamura is actually the one to call them out on it with his big mouth. Abe had been hoping to just slip away but this is unavoidable. He stops short, enough to fall back and put his hand on Furuya's arm, guiding him to continue forward and away from everyone else.]

He's overheating! I'll bring him back in a while.

[Quieter, to Furuya:] Come on, keep walking.
staminaroll: (Default)

[personal profile] staminaroll 2015-02-05 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
I don't need a break. We haven't even started.

[If they leave now, the coach will think he's weaker than ever. It's hot but it's not that hot and when Abe replies to Sawamura that Furuya's overheating, well. Yeah, that gets Furuya legitimately standing fast.

For the sake of his own pride if nothing else, he does at least adopt Abe's quieter tone when he replies.]

I'm not overheating. Why do we have to leave already?
catches_flies: (I pick up the ball and throw it to who?)

[personal profile] catches_flies 2015-02-05 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
[Abe looks like he might snap for a second. He's doing this for Furuya's sake! He has enough forethought to take him away and prevent him from humiliating himself, and this is how Furuya thanks him?!

He hasn't actually told the other boy that but that's not the point. Abe leans in closer, each word ground out between his teeth.]

Because you need to take care of yourself.

[He motions to the problem with his eyes, as it's more inconspicuous than pointing.]

Now move.
staminaroll: (Default)

[personal profile] staminaroll 2015-02-05 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
[Furuya notices the change in Abe, that sudden twanging tension, but tough. He's finally getting to pitch! Let him actually overheat first! Besides, isn't he supposed to be working on his stamina? (Not that he's actually interested in working per se, but it's a convenient route to staying on the mound.)

He's about to turn around and walk back past Abe to the mound when Abe leans in. Furuya's face doesn't change. People have been telling him to take care of himself for years. That's what naps and shady places are for, but not right now! Still, he does finally look down after Abe does and--

Oh.]

Oh.

[Eloquent as ever. Without another word--because really, what is he going to say--Furuya turns and heads for the clubhouse. Any redness on his face is obviously a result of his overheating.]
catches_flies: (I don't give a darn.)

[personal profile] catches_flies 2015-02-05 06:16 am (UTC)(link)
[Obviously.

Abe's impatient about this for a reason. Someone could have very well just come walking along on the wrong side of them while they deliberated and there goes his attempt at saving Furuya. Relieved that the pitcher's finally moving along, Abe strides after him.

It's not long before they're in the bathrooms and Abe is stepping around to see that it is, in fact, empty. Save for himself and Furuya, whom he levels a look at.]

Next time, don't question it. When I tell you to do something, I'm telling you for a reason!
staminaroll: (Default)

[personal profile] staminaroll 2015-02-05 08:09 pm (UTC)(link)
[Good luck getting him to admit to any other cause, no matter how apparent it is to both of them now.

The cool air in the restrooms is a huge relief and Furuya breathes deeply and closes his eyes, then turns to face a corner because, well. The reason they came in here is still very much valid. Of course, he can still feel the weight of Abe's look on him. He gives him his very best ignore, but for some reason Abe carries on anyway.

Catchers.

He answers without opening his eyes or turning around.]

You always think your reason is the most important. I haven't gotten to pitch to you in weeks.

[Yes, this is embarrassing and yes, some part of him is grudgingly grateful to Abe and will admit it if pressed, but his reasons matter too. With his back to Abe, it's slightly easier to actually say them than to just shut down. At least for a moment.]
catches_flies: By me unless otherwise stated. (Default)

[personal profile] catches_flies 2015-02-06 01:46 am (UTC)(link)
[His reasons are the most important, or... they seem that way in the moment. Abe already knew the other boy wanted to pitch badly; it's kind of hard not to notice. He'd long ago noted the way Furuya clings to the mound with respect. That might be his best feature, as a pitcher.

But somehow, the way he says that now sounds different. Abe pauses, just staring at his back before he speaks.]

... I know, I'm looking forward to it too. Feels good catching for you.

[Maybe he doesn't say so enough, but shouldn't that have been obvious from how he asks for it? Furuya's not the only one who anticipates it. Resting a hand on his hip, Abe sighs.]

But we would've had to stop anyway, if I didn't notice. [Think about certain other people noticing first, Furuya. Think about it.] Just take care of it quickly and we can go.
staminaroll: (Default)

[personal profile] staminaroll 2015-02-06 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[Abe's quiet for long enough that Furuya almost turns around, but then he's glad he stopped himself. He's embarrassed enough right now; he doesn't need Abe seeing how completely surprised he is at that reply. The catcher will have to settle for a wide eyed glance over Furuya's shoulder.

It feels good? Not even at his nicest did Miyuki ever say that. Furuya's going to need some time to process that, but after he does, the odds of Abe not having to ask anymore are pretty good.

In the meantime, though, well. Abe's not wrong and his directions are probably the only way this is going to get better. It's not fixing itself. Without speaking, Furuya turns and ducks into the nearest stall then starts undoing his pants.]

I. [Beat.] Probably won't need very long.

catches_flies: (We're not talking about him.)

[personal profile] catches_flies 2015-02-07 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
[What? What's that look for?! Abe thought that much was obvious! After all, it's been a while since he'd acted like Furuya's very presence was an offense to him (though that was a thing). It took time but he's moved on from that; Furuya is Furuya and he can appreciate him as his own person now, with all his raw talent and passion. What he said was just the truth.

Whatever. Abe leans against the wall nearby, crosses his arms, and settles in to wait.

... while failing to ignore how he can hear Furuya undoing his pants. How about thinking of something else, mind! Like, not his teammate jacking off.

His mind doesn't listen. Actually, it brings up how Abe's heard of this kind of thing happening but he's never had it happen before besides sometimes in the morning. Is this really normal or is there something wrong with Furuya?]

Hey, [His voice changes angle as he looks to the stall.] have you been doing what I told you? Using your other arm so you can do it more?
staminaroll: (Default)

[personal profile] staminaroll 2015-02-09 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
[The biggest evidence of how much Abe still has to learn is that he thinks anything is obvious to Furuya. At least, anything to do with their relationship. Abe thinking his existence was offensive was pretty easy to anticipate. Anything beyond that, well. It's going to take some time.

He's not really thinking about that right now, though. Right now he's thinking that he needs to deal with this to get back on the mound, so after his pants there's the small matter of dealing with his jockstrap. Hassle to put on, even bigger hassle now...

Abe's talking to him? Now??]

Uh. Yeah. [It was awkward at first--Furuya is not really all that great with his left hand--but he's getting the hang of it. Why is... wait. Furuya's voice is very quiet when he speaks again.]

Is that what I should do now?
catches_flies: (That's the first thing you've said right)

[personal profile] catches_flies 2015-02-10 12:32 pm (UTC)(link)
[That answer is not as confident as he'd like. Abe raises a brow at the stall Furuya's in, wondering if he's lying about it. Maybe that's why they're even here: Furuya's been forgoing the act entirely because he can't be bothered and the tension's pent up this bad. That's a thing that can happen, right?

And how quiet he then becomes doesn't make Abe less suspicious. With his head having unconsciously tilted closer to hear Furuya, Abe sounds slightly louder.]

Why wouldn't you do that now if it's been working?!

[Doesn't he want to save his strength for the pitching he's about to do?! This is like, the quintessential time he should use that method. God.]

... Has it been working?
staminaroll: (Default)

[personal profile] staminaroll 2015-02-11 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
[Of course it's not confident, Abe wants to have this conversation while Furuya is dealing with a boner. Furuya's trying to balance that particular situation with what's happening between him and Abe. He's used to rejection from other players. Abe's asking an extremely private question. That's not rejection.

How to even answer that.]

Because it'll be faster with my right hand. Of course it's been working. [How would it not work? Furuya's a little clumsy sometimes but even he can't screw that up.] I just thought it should go quicker.

[Jockstrap down and after a moment... fine, left hand. It's not like Abe will ever know, but technically speaking his catcher gave him a direction. Technically.]
catches_flies: (We're not talking about him.)

[personal profile] catches_flies 2015-02-11 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
[There's no better time to be having this conversation. Literally, there is no better time, because every time is horrible. At least Abe's now satisfied that Furuya didn't blow off his advice.]

Right... and it'd go even quicker if you dunked it in cold water.

[So Furuya made a good point, but there's a rule in the official universal catchers' manual that says you have to give your pitcher a hard time.]

Just use your left. The mound's still gonna be out there whether you take ten or two minutes. I gave them an excuse, you know.
staminaroll: (Default)

[personal profile] staminaroll 2015-02-12 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
[Cold water? What the hell!? Furuya's definitely looking at the stall door a little sideways right now because what does his catcher even get up to. On the other hand, cold water is always relevant to Furuya's interests, so he may or may not be filing that information away. Useless right now, though.]

... All right. You don't have to stay in here, you know.

[And with that he licks a stripe across his left palm--he's going to have to wash his hands anyway--and reaches down. The grip still feels weird but he hisses softly anyway. Ten minutes might be a little optimistic.]
catches_flies: (You know I'm a catcher too.)

[personal profile] catches_flies 2015-02-13 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
[Abe meant it like a cold shower. He's not that weird, Furuya... just weird enough to still be standing in here.]

I'm supposed to be helping you. [No, wait that doesn't—

Then he hears that hiss and Abe's pause gets oddly long.]
... Making sure you don't pass out.

[Okay, now that they're past the technicalities and everything's settled, now he's more seriously rethinking this. If Abe leaves to just loiter around outside the bathroom, he's going to have to come up with an explanation as to why he's not either tending to a supposedly heat exhausted Furuya or bringing him back to practice. But maybe knowing there's another guy right here, waiting for him no less, will make the pitcher take longer to finish... ? That's a valid complaint.]

Do you need me to leave?
staminaroll: (Default)

[personal profile] staminaroll 2015-02-14 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
[Furuya almost stops what he's doing when he hears Abe say he's supposed to be helping him. Did he miss some kind of signal here? Is he supposed to open the stall door now or something?

He's not opening the door, Abe. He's busy.

Then the pause gets so long that he thinks Abe might just have left, but no. Still there. Furuya closes his eyes and takes a deep breath as his hand moves, just trying to blank his mind. It's easier that way.]

No. But I'm not going to pass out.
catches_flies: (I pick up the ball and throw it to who?)

[personal profile] catches_flies 2015-02-15 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
[Well he doesn't want Furuya to open the door anyway, gosh. Except now, when Abe gets the sudden urge to strangle him a little.]

Wh- I know you're not! [He better not, anyway, because Abe wouldn't crawl under the door to get him out of there (yes he would). But unless Furuya's into some strange things, how would he even manage to do that to himself?!]

I'm saying that I'm expected to stay in here and help you, right?! Otherwise I'd just go back to practice!

[And since Furuya says it's alright to stay Abe doesn't move from where he is, even though the sounds of movement are quite audible whenever he stops talk/yelling and it's really hard not to think about that.]
staminaroll: (Default)

[personal profile] staminaroll 2015-02-15 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
You're the one who brought it--who said something about passing out.

[Because Abe brought nothing up, thank you very much. Furuya had to text him for advice on how to do this in the first place. What makes him think he's creative enough to knock himself out in there? Of course, Furuya'd be kind of flattered in any other context, but really now.]

OK. Stay, but try not to listen. Please.

[Realistically he knows it's not really possible, the bathroom isn't that big and there's nothing else to listen to, but by saying it he at least feels like he's done something to defend his dignity and privacy.

That done, nothing left but the task at hand. So to speak.]
