sure is cold in here ( the body heat meme )

Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
Or just completely ignore the guideline above and do your thing.
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.
Inquisitor Bramen Lavellan || Dragon Age Inquisition || ota
Did someone call for cuddles?
He's in too good of a mood.]
I would like you in bed as soon as possible, amatus.
Why yes, yes I did
Skyhold had Dorian.
And he was content to have the mage follow him back to his chambers, hoping to get at least a bit of rest before meeting his advisers in the morning. Of course, with Dorian joining him, he had a feeling that he wouldn't be getting much sleep. The door closed behind them, the two moving further into Bramen's rooms, the elf moving to add a few logs to the fireplace before looking over his shoulder.]
Come help me light the fire, ma vhenan - and we'll see about getting in there.
We aim to deliver
I'm spoiling you with all this magic. You're going to forget how to do it yourself at this rate.
[He goes over to Bramen with fire dancing across his finger tips. It really is easier to do this with magic. He just has to touch his fingers to the log to catch the flames.]
no subject
Just another reason for me to keep you around.
[He rubbed his hand along Dorian's back before moving to stand up, tugging at the high neck of his formal attire, the identical red and blue uniform that Dorian himself presently wore.]
Now, we should get out of these formal clothes - and slip into bed, before my advisers come knocking at the door.
no subject
You look good in these clothes. I wouldn't say natural for you but you do look good.
[He stands back and busies his fingers with the slash and buttons of his formal uniform.]
If they do show up, do I have your permission to zap them? Please?
no subject
No zapping my advisers. Josephine might forgive a stray spark but I'm fairly sure Leliana will have your head for that. Cullen might not be too happy either.
[And the rogue would rather avoid upsetting his team.]
Come on - it will be warmer in here soon. [He unfastened the belt around Dorian's middle, casting it and the sash under it down to the floor as he craned his neck, pressing a kiss beside the man's mouth.] And we will be warmer too.
no subject
[He teases as he tosses Bramen's sash over his shoulder to wherever it might land. There's no rush to it. He's happy to lean in and kiss him slowly to enjoy it.]
I will be nice to your advisers but if they want to talk to you they'll do it in here and while I'm cuddling you in bed.
[They're done with work, he's going to make Bramen relax and enjoy and warm up as well.]
no subject
I can agree to that. [Said with a smile, already imagining Cullen growing awkward at the sight of the pair of men in bed together, Dorian kissing his ears.] Though, with luck, they should have seen you follow me up here.
[He leaned forward and pressed a kiss beside Dorian's mouth, the fire they stood in front of already starting to provide some form of warmth for them.]
They should know I'll be indisposed until morning.
[Bramen made a great deal of sacrifices for the Inquisition - but Dorian was the one thing he allowed himself to be selfish about.]
no subject
They can think of it as time to write their reports and get ready to talk your ears off tomorrow. [But definitely tomorrow because Bramen is his tonight.] You'll be very busy, I'm sure.
[He parts Bramen's jacket so that he can slide his arms around him and tug him against his chest. It's much easier to kiss like this.]
That sounds like a brilliant plan. Well thought out.
[Just to lie in bed with his love would be enough though he did have some plans to seduce.]
no subject
All the more reason I need you to help me relax tonight, help me get my mind off all of that.
[And Dorian was quite good at getting his mind off work. The elf turned his head, moving to rest it against Dorian's shoulder, savouring the warmth of his companion's body against his own.]
Like everything, you do that quite well.
no subject
[He rests his cheek against the top of Bramen's head, content to stand in front of the fire all night if that's what Bramen wants to do.]
Amatus, I'm flattered you've noticed. It's hard to miss though, isn't it? I am truly flawless.
[He puffs out his chest a little, grinning foolishly. He does love to talk about himself.]
no subject
So that's where my ravens have been going...
[He smirked a little, kissing at Dorian's throat.]
Though I think I'd rather finish getting undressed and crawl into bed with you. You could regale me with stories of Minrathous - and all the terrible galas you were dragged to.
no subject
I haven't touched them. I've thought about it...
[The birds are noisy and annoying. Dorian tolerates them only because of their obvious intelligence.]
Do you really want to hear of Minrathous?
[He draws back to deal with Bramen's shirt and check to see that his lover is being honest. It's rare anyone asks about Tevinter.]
no subject
Bramen rolled his shoulders and moved closer to do the same with Dorian's remaining clothing, nodding as he worked on removing the shirt the man had worn beneath that formal jacket.]
Of course. I enjoy listening you talk about your homeland.
[It was nice to hear the pride reflected in his lover's voice when he spoke on the matter.]
no subject
[He takes a moment to appreciate Bramen's form, so lean but strong. Dorian especially enjoys his arms which are quite lovely from all that bow drawing.
After his shirt is gone he runs his hands up and down his lover's sides, feeling the shape of him, unable to resist.]
Maker's breath, you're beautiful.
no subject
Personally, I think it's all interesting.
[He opened his eyes, resting his hands against Dorian's chest. He still wore those fancy formal ones but they were comfortable enough for now, hugging his hips closely enough.]
Though getting into bed with you sounds quite appealing too.
no subject
[The mention of bed is a good reminder. He takes a hold of Bramen's hips and guides him towards it with a gentle nudge and deliberate step. It's almost like they're dancing again.]
That might be an impossible task for both of us but we can endeavor to try.
[He nudges Bramen down on to the bed and crawls after him, settling over him and kissing him softly.]
no subject
You ask a lot of the Inquisitor, you know.
[he could talk so long as he wasn't kissing him? Too much to ask at this moment. Bramen's lips moved to Dorian's chin, planting a few more along the man's jaw and down his throat. He exhaled through his nose, fingers running through that dark hair as he smiled, not quite ready to settle all the way back yet.]
You can still talk if I do this, can't you? [he asked, between short kisses he pressed against the side of Dorian's neck, chuckling lightly against his skin.]
no subject
I might be a bit distracted but we'll see what I can manage.
[He tilts his head back for him, offering his neck and anything else Bramen would like to kiss while he talks. It will test his focus but he's quite happy to be distracted in this case.]
Minrathous is ancient. It's never been captured by any army though many have tried to take it including Andraste's. Oh, that's nice, do that again. What was I saying?
no subject
He lightly nipped beneath the man's chin, grazing the flesh between his teeth as he let out an idle sound, reminding his lover he was listening. He allowed himself to ease back a little more into the soft mattress, pulling Dorian further down a little further.]
Minrathous, the ancient city. [He murmured the words softly against Dorian's neck, idly tracing small circular patterns down the man's spine.] It's impressive that it's stood for so long.
no subject
Too many refuges, too many poor and yet the history is everywhere. It's beautiful and tragic. [He closes his eyes to better enjoy Bramen's attention and hide from the truth of his poor beautiful city dying where he can't see it.] But, Maker, some parts of the city are beautifully preserved, ancient but alive. You can touch history.
However, I suggest you keep touching me.
no subject
[The way Dorian leaned in to his touch was the positive response Bramen was looking for, letting out a breathy laugh through his nose. He shifted beneath the mage and turned his attention to his shoulder, lips moving along the exposed skin there.]
It must be nice, to be that close to a piece of the past. I thought the Winter Palace was incredible - I can't begin to imagine what parts of Tevinter must look like.
no subject
[He would also like to lay Barmen out on a couch on that terrace and see him bronze in the Tevinter sun but that was a fantasy for another time.]
I can show you the grand libraries where I learned magic and take you to meet the friends I have. Mae will adore you. Not as much me, mind you. No one gets to adore you like I do.
no subject
You don't consider a lot of people to be your friends - I'd like to properly meet this Mae.
[He's heard about her. She'd sent requests to the Inquisition and the Inquisition was pleased to aid her. She provided some valuable information - it would be nice to finally get acquainted. Particularly with someone who meant so much to Dorian.]
Maybe one day we'll be able to visit-- [He lifted his head from Dorian's shoulder, a smile playing on his lips] And you can show me everything you adore about your homeland.
[And hopefully, Bramen wouldn't be mistaken for a slave. After being referred to as "servant", "knife-ear" and "help" for the better part of his time at the Winter Palace, he's certainly had enough.]

I imagine Dorian trying to offhandedly ask Solas the meaning and Solas looking offended
Dorian trying to be subtle is one of my favorite things.
It's a beautiful thing
There are druffalo more subtle than Dorian.
