It started out quietly, and then, quite suddenly, you're caught in a storm with an endless downpour. Time to quickly find cover! Nothing much to do but to wait it out. Where is the rain happening? How are you coping? Why are you out when it hits?

i WHERE:
001 PLAYGROUND | Well, you can try to hide under the slide or maybe in the jungle gym... at least you're some place fun?
002 PARK | Always happens, caught outside trying to take advantage of the weather... and it ends up pulling a fast one on you.
003 STORE FRONT | Better hope they have an awning you can take advantage of.
004 BEACH | Not exactly the best place to be during a rainstorm, however it is possible to get caught in a sudden storm.
005 FOREST | Mud, bugs and all the rambler's paths are washed away so you don't know how to get out.
006 SKY | On a plane? A pegasus? You were there when the first drop fell.
007 EMPTY CITY | Maybe it was a zombie apocalypse or WW3. It's safer outside when all the nasties take refuge indoors.
008 AT SEA | Nothing is worse than an unexpected freak storm here. Except sea monsters.
009 TEMPLE | It's beautiful, but leaky.

From under the cover of her umbrella, Mina's vision through the falling rain was somewhat skewed; she was busy looking at shop signs along the street, trying her best to find the antique dealer that Vlad had told her about, and not paying attention to the passerby around her.

Which was why she carelessly collided with a tall figure in a dark jacket, not a moment later. She was lucky the umbrella edge hadn't poked the poor man's eye out, really - as it was, he simply huffed in surprise in comparison with her alarmed shriek.

" - God, I'm really sorry, I - " And that was when she glimpsed a look at his face.

" - Oh." She broke out in a surprised, flirtatious grin; he'd obviously gotten his hair cut short since she'd last seen him a day earlier, but his features were unmistakable. "What are you doing out here?"

He cocked his head slightly when she addressed him, studying her for a moment.

"What are you talking about?"

She cocks her head in the opposite direction, in response to his — maybe it's coincidence, maybe it's subtle flirting with body language, as is the way she shifts her hips — and smiles, innocently.

"You should have told me you were going to be in town today; I would have asked you to accompany me. We could have gone back to your place and waited out this downpour with a fire and some wine, afterwards."

Shaw looked at her for a long moment. Was she propositioning him? Clearly this was a case of mistaken identity, but he wanted to know more. So he'd go along with it for the moment.

"Well. Drying each other off has its merits too."

"Of course it does." She laughed a bit in response, before her expression turned coy and she looked up at him again from under lowered lashes.

"We shouldn't spend too long in these wet clothes, after all, should we? We might catch our death of cold." She came up beside him and slid her arm to link with his, crooking her head in the direction he was headed. "Let's go to my place, instead - my fireplace is just as good as yours."

"Lead the way," he tells her, making a sweeping gesture.

Interesting. If there was someone so truly like him that this woman was fooled, then perhaps he might be of use. If she still couldn't tell in the dry and light and warmth of her flat, then that would tell him for sure. He'd only have to find out from her where to find him.

Mina's only thoughts are of what awaits them back in her flat, once they've dried themselves off respectively and gotten cozy.

The walk is short, made a bit longer by the downpour, but she shares her umbrella with him until they're at her building; she leads him upstairs, not noticing his curious glances at the surroundings as though he's never been there before.

She lets him in through the front door, shaking off her umbrella and toeing off her boots as she moves aside for him. "Come on in - let's dry off. There's some towels in the bathroom, and I'll start a fire going."

He glances around the flat as he pushes his own boots off, then steps in behind her, following her to the bathroom.

Nice little place. And in the dry and the light? Can she tell?

She's momentarily occupied with the towels but when she turns around and sees him behind her, cornering her in the doorway, Mina grins and with her free hand pulls him close by his damp shirtfront.

His hair is distracting, like this - she's still not used to the change - but her gaze skips over his eyes, his nose, that familiar sensual mouth, and she's satisfied at the recognition she sees there.

"...Come here." And then she tips her chin towards him, pulling him even closer and planting a firm but playful kiss on his lips.

If she figures it out, it will probably be here, but this isn't a point his normal encounters with people would get to.

At any rate, he returns the kiss, just to see what will happen. His hands shift to rest at her hips.

It's a gentle kiss, despite her boldness, and the little, minute differences in the taste of his mouth and the texture of his lips make her pull away slowly, looking up at him from under her lowered blonde brows. Mina's gaze travels over him searchingly, before she leans up into him again and kisses him once more, her tongue licking hot and slow into his mouth this time to taste him further.

She's a little perplexed, but not enough to make her shy away from him - not yet.

He feels her hesitation. When she opts to explore him further, he smiles against her mouth, pulling her tight against him.

When they part briefly for air, he murmurs "Perhaps I should wander in the rain more often, if this is how it turns out."

The way he smiles - a little wicked as he does sometimes, like he's got some ulterior motive or secret he's not sharing with her - and then pulls her tighter against him makes her melt, and Mina lets a slight moan filter through her lips between the kiss.

She laughs a bit against his mouth at his remark, and it sets her just a little more at ease. Coyly she begins working to undo the buttons at the top of his water-logged shirt, smirking suggestively between further kisses.

"I'd be a poor lover if I made you wander about in a downpour like this, just to get some attention."

The rain is still coming down pretty hard, but the bathroom window is open, and they can peek at the falling rain from the warmth of the hot shower, she thinks.

"I don't know about that. Women like to be pursued." He smiles slowly. "Men like to pursue them."

This makes her stop in her endeavor, looking up at him with an arched brow and curious expression, and a half-smirk threatening her lips.

"...Are you saying you were pursuing me, this afternoon, in the rain? Because it seemed as though we ran into one another quite by accident."

"Perhaps you were pursuing me," he teases. "How forward."

Mina watches him silently for a moment, backing away another moment after, her hands abandoning the buttons on his shirt.

...Something's a bit off about Vlad. She can't discern what exactly that it is, but his behavior has her confused - normally there would be a quick and efficient production of undressing, and fewer words exchanged for longer kisses. Not so, this time.

She smirks again to cover her uncertainty, and to test him this time she begins to work on her own buttons at the top of her short-sleeved blouse, undoing them one at a time as she watches his expression.

"Forgive me, then, for being too forward," she remarks, baring her cleavage and the top of a white lace bra. "Perhaps you wish to be left alone and untouched, then?"

He smiles and moves closer to her. "Perhaps I wish to pursue," he points out, reaching for her blouse to take over undoing her buttons.

Mina backs up against the porcelain sink behind her as he steps forward to make good on his claim, his fingers already reaching for the last few fastenings on her blouse. She pulls herself just out of his reach - if he really wants to undress her badly enough, he'll advance just a little more.

"...Perhaps I may not be such easy prey, then," she retorts, cocking her head slightly, an impish gleam in her eyes. Despite her words, she spreads her legs imperceptibly underneath her pencil skirt as she leans away from his touch.

She's not entirely sure what game it is that he's playing, but Mina is always up for a rousing challenge.

"I would be disappointed if you were," he tells her, his hand moves to grip her hip and slide down along her thigh as he steps towards her again, fingers looking to grip the fabric of her skirt.

"And what will you do if I resist?" She's still smirking, but also genuinely curious - Vlad has never been rough with her or forced her in any respect, and although she's thankful for his gentleness she can't help but wonder how the other half lives. She stays motionless for the moment as his hand smoothes down her hip, fingers bunching the material just above the hem.

"...Force me? Pin my wrists, so I can't struggle?" Her voice comes quieter. "Turn me around and bend me over this sink, and take me that way?"

...If that sounds like a challenge...well.

He grins and moves closer. "You're putting notions in my head. I may not be able to stop myself now."

He recongizes a game when he sees it. And an invitation. He hikes her skirt up roughly, watching her face for a sign of the thrill he thinks she's looking for.

That grin of his is something along the lines of feral. His suggestion that he might not be able to stop himself, as well as the way he yanks her skirt up over her thighs, makes her gasp; it's more of surprise at her body's reaction, rather than fear. She feels a rush of excitement, culminating in a sudden heat between her thighs - despite that small, insistent whisper in her head that this isn't like him - and her smirk falters, for a brief moment.

Backed up against the sink as she is she tries to edge away from him, half-playfully to see what he'd do, half in slight concern that this isn't normal behavior for him.

"- What if I tell you to stop?"

...The tricky part is that she's not entirely sure whether she wants him to, or not.

"If you tell me to stop..." He presses closer to her, his thumb stroking the inside of her upper thigh, "how disappointed would you be if I did?"

He steals a kiss.

"Do you want me to stop?"

He yanks at her blouse, popping a few of the remaining buttons.

...Very disappointed. She can't help herself from leaning in to his touch on her thigh, spreading them both just a bit wider for him - for his thumb to travel just a bit higher - and then tilting her head back for his brief kiss.

And then she jumps, when he rips the rest of her blouse open and pops several buttons off in the process.

It's entirely his fault that her breath is coming faster now, her heart hammering in her ribcage, and Mina only manages to shake her head in a negative response as she keeps her eyes steadily and stubbornly on his.

There's a slight frown on her features, mostly because it takes all of her willpower now to try to close her thighs around his hand, as if she were trying to stop him, as well as to stop herself from tugging him forward by his beltloops and unzipping the fly of his pants. If he doesn't want her being too forward in this game, if he wants her to be the reluctant victim, she can play this part, she thinks.

...The game is strange and new enough to her to not make her reactions a complete act, after all.

I recommend it. I've never seen the other five movies and I had no trouble with it.

I think the premise lends itself to the movies being standalone, luckily. :3
