Sometimes all you need is a word to spark off an idea.
1. Post a comment with your character's name, canon, and any preferences you may have (no shipping, no smut, etc.)
2. Leave the comment blank or post a word or two in the body.
It may also help if you list scenarios you would like to play.
3. Reply to other people, either with words you picked out, or words they posted as prompts for a thread.

And frankly, that isn't much if he intends on letting Klaus do as he pleases. He's had most of the evening blessedly to himself. A drink sits on the desk in front of Elijah as he listens to the rolls of thunder make their way closer and closer when he hears footsteps echoing out in the courtyard, signaling the end of his solitude. They are too light to be Klaus', but that relief is microscopic. Anyone walking at that pace needs or wants something and while normally he tries to be as accommodating as possible, he's feeling less so tonight than most nights.
Still, Elijah rises from his seat and meets the visitor at the top of the stairs. He's almost not surprised to see it's Cami. Aside from being one of the few people brazen enough to set foot in the compound unannounced, she tends to get herself too involved when it comes to his brother whether it's by her choice or Niklaus' choice.
"Cami," he greets her with a polite nod. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
idk where you were thinking canon point wise, but ...
So she relies on her instincts, if the casserole dish in her hand is any indication. She pauses for a moment when Elijah comes into view, momentarily at a loss for words. She doesn't make social calls when it comes to the oldest of the Originals - when she sees him it's because he needs her to wrangle Klaus, and he must know at this point that Klaus told her to stay away. She doesn't intend to stay long.
"I wasn't sure what to do, about ... everything. But I wanted to do something, and I'm not much of a cook but whenever someone dies in my family, we always bring food, so that no one has to cook. But as I'm standing here, holding this, I'm remembering that you're all vampires, so ... no one is going to actually eat this. Wow, I'm an idiot."
There's a beat of silence, and she takes a step back.
"Never mind. I shouldn't even be here anyway."
