[ Seeing him trying to peak through her fingers made her jump and made her fall backward onto her bottom. She stared at him with the most embarrassed look she could muster.]

[ at least he has enough manners to help her to her feet. unfortunately, he also has few enough manners that A) he doesn't know better than to touch royalty and B) it doesn't occur to him not to help dust Yue's behind off. ]
