[Hazel had thought that at this point in her life, there weren't many humiliations left for her to experience - she'd already been brought back from the dead and pressed into service against her will, after all, an experience which was rather difficult to top. even so, she was finding it rather difficult to completely write the current situation out of the running.

how had this even come to pass? she could understand needing to get into this event, and that it was strictly men only, but she just couldn't find where the leap had been made from this to TIME TO DRESS IN DRAG. maybe her mind was already blocking the whole thing out.

...well, at least she had somebody to rely on this time around if things got ugly. Hazel didn't know Aredhel all that well yet, to be sure, but she'd gotten the feeling that she was a woman whose word could be trusted. if she said she'd protect her while they tried to get this shit done, she'd believe her. the peace of mind was nice.

she sighs a little, unconsciously adjusting her binder once more. she'd never been the most buxom girl out there, but it was still a bit weird to be wearing something like this. were they even going to be able to pass?]

Uh, so...are you ready?

I am.

[She comes over and looks Hazel over for a moment, then fixes her collar with the ease of someone who is used to taking care of children.]

As soon as you stop touching your chest - it draws attention to it if you do it, and while many might be deceived still, we will want to avoid more scrutiny than strictly necessary.

[She would not let one that cannot ride or carries no proper weapons on a hunt either. And Hazel's safety is her mission in this.]

[a hand twitches to go up and fuss with it again, but she manages to still it before it leaves her side. Hazel hadn't realized that the action was so noticeable, or that she'd really been doing it all that much. just another mark of her general inexperience.]

Yeah. I'll be better about that; I just have to get into the groove of things.

[it'll be better once they're out there and there's something else to focus on, or at least that's what she's hoping. Hazel flashes a smile which, while a bit thin, is at least full of determination]

[She returns the smile with a full grin and then opens the door for Hazel.

It's weird, being constrained like this and not for the sake of physical exercise, but she's done similar things before to keep her chest from moving too much while climbing, running, riding... and many other things, so it's not all that weird. Neither of them might be the most convincing guy, but it's close enough.]
