The Body Heat Meme

Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

The calendar says it's August, but you wouldn't know it in London today. The rain and wind are cold and unrelenting, which Ariadne found out the hard way when her umbrella broke halfway home. By the time she got to the flat she shared with Arthur and Eames, she was drenched and shivering and miserable.

Arthur had started his morning late due to a session of morning sex initiated by Ariadne. Eames, of course, was more than willing to take part. So when Ariadne went out for groceries a couple of hours later, Arthur left the flat with her before jogging in the opposite direction down the street. It hadn't been raining so hard then.

He came back a few minutes after she did, his t-shirt off and draped around his neck and his shoes and socks drenched. His sweatpants were sticking to legs. It was all rather uncomfortable. Arthur took out his earphones when he saw Ariadne in the foyer, just as wet as him. "Hey, let me get those." He wrapped his earphones around his phone before grabbing her bags from her.

She looked grateful for the help as she stood trying to fumble for her keys with grocery bags draped everywhere while her hair dripped water into her eyes.

"Thanks," she said as she handed them over and then finally found her keys to let them inside. They were greeted with a blast of cold air from the air conditioner, causing her to shiver. "I don't know why Eames has to keep it set to Arctic in here even on days like today."

"Looks like he's out." There was a note on the side table by the door.

Arthur went and reprogrammed the thermostat to heat up the apartment. He was shivering, too, now that his body had regulated his temperature.

"I don't imagine he mentioned where," she said. Eames was like that; heading out for hours and coming back with some story or another, usually involving a large pot of money won at an underground poker game.

She made quick work of putting away the groceries so she could head to the bedroom to peel off her cold, wet clothes.

"He never does." Arthur followed her to the kitchen and helped her out. "Are we having pasta tonight?" He asked, holding up the box of spaghetti before putting that away, too.

"That was the plan," she said. "Bought the vodka sauce you like and some chicken breasts."

"Mmm, thanks." He put away the reusable bags and went over to her, kissing her still damp forehead. "Want to take a hot shower? I could use one."

She nodded and shivered, body moving towards him, seeking out the warmth of his larger body.

"Sounds like a good idea," she said. "These clothes have to go."

"Okay." He wrapped his arms around her, rubbing her back with his hand. After kissing her forehead again, he took her hand and led her to the bathroom. "Oh, we could use the tub instead."

She started peeling her wet clothes from her body as soon as they got into the bathroom.

"Tub sounds like a great idea," she said as she grabbed the hem of her shirt.

Arthur bent over the tub so he could turn on the hot water and then started taking off his clothes and shoes. He kissed the side of her neck after she undressed.

She smiled and leaned her head away from him to lengthen her neck.

He took her hand. "Come on, lets get you warmed up," he said, tugging her over to the tub.

She smiled and let him lead her over to the tub. She stepped in ahead of him and then sank down slowly into the water with a sigh.

He stepped in behind her and sat down so she could lean back against her.

She scooted back and rested her back against his chest.

"You should've just taken a taxi the rest of the way home," he said after a moment, combing her hair back with his fingers.

"I would have, except they were all full," she said, eyes closing. "Because it was raining."

"Okay, okay," he said with a soft chuckle. He kissed the back of her head. "I'm surprised you went grocery shopping at all after this morning."

"What? You think you wore me out?" she teased. "You went for a run."

He laughed again, louder this time. "Eames was definitely trying to wear you out."

She laughed too.

"He was doing pretty well," she said. "And he probably would have succeeded if it were night time and not morning."

"Mm, very true, let's see what happens tonight," he said with another soft chuckle.
