I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

① kidnapped for ransom - everyone wants to make a quick buck. and what quicker way is there than ransoming someones life. Not that everything always goes to plan. Let's just hope that everyone comes out alive and happy.
② kidnapped for revenge - Someone was on the wrong side. Maybe it's the significant other of an Ex. Maybe it's the Ex themselves. Or perhaps it's even more complicated than that. Either way, there's nothing sweeter.
③ cracknapping - Okay, so you didn't mean to drink that much, but now you have woken up in a room with a bunch of mascots from the game and what is going on?
④ kidnapped for help - We need you help. Whether you're willingly up to offer it or not.
⑤ kidnapped for their own good - Want to get you out of a bad situation. It's for your own good. Trust us. You're safe now, you won't be hurt any more.
⑥ accidental kidnapping - okay. so this wasn't... exactly what was planned. But looks like we've got an extra person now. W H O O P S ???
⑦ wildcard - Anyway you want it.

( i can write the starter! my only question is do you prefer both of them as kidnapees or would you like guy as the rescuer? )

[ooc: ah, Guy. I don't mind either way if you want him to be with her as a kidnappee or want him to come rescue her. Whichever you prefer is fine with me.]

[Head straight for Malkuth, bring back Luke, don't let the military catch you. Be efficient, be discreet. That's how his journey was supposed to go. When he set out, he intended to do no more and no less.

Only, it seems that nobles have a tendency to fall into trouble, be it through accidental hyperresonances or kidnappers. The Kimlascan throne preferred to keep good relations with Zaphias. If there was troubling rattling their allies' cages, they were obliged to send help.

Even if the help wasn't quite supposed to be in the area.

Being inconvenienced for the whims of those above wasn't anything new to Guy--he's spent years under that treatment and has learned to tuck his irritation out of sight. He'll get this finished as quick as he can, the best he can.

Not this door. Not that one. Hurrying down the hall, away from the sounds of battle, Guy pounds his fist on the next door.]

Hey! Anybody in there?

[The journey to meet with Natalia and the others at Kimlasca was rather rudely interrupted, and she is already worrying about knowing everyone would be fretting over her. Again. This isn't the first time she's been kidnapped, after all. And the last time it happened--well. She's certain Yuri would be frantic and furious, to say the least.

Of course Estelle figures someone will be sent to bail her out of this. She just didn't anticipate it being him. When she hears that voice, her eyes widen and she struggles to stand and get as close to the door as she can with being tied up as she is.]

Guy? They sent you? What's going on?

[Because even in here, she can hear the fighting, hoping none of her friends are getting too hurt trying to rescue her. Hoping Guy himself is okay, aware this is probably causing something of a detour.]

[He lets out a sigh of relief upon hearing her voice. Good. He doubts that they would've harmed her, seeing how important a political figure she was, but it was good to know that she was still around.]

Oh, isn't it obvious? A rescue's under way. [He sounds cheerful and peppy about it.] Can you step back from the door?

Is everything okay? Nobody is hurt, are they?

[But oh. Right. She nods, before remembering he can't actually see her through the door, retreating farther from it to the opposite end of the room before telling him to go ahead. Assuming this means he couldn't find the key from the guard and thus needs to possibly break the door down. She hopes that cheer means nobody is too badly hurt coming to help her, in any case.]

Go ahead!

It's under control. [At least, he hopes that it will be by the time he gets her out. Guy glances down the hallway. He doesn't like how the noises are getting closer, but he won't mention that right now.] Don't worry, we'll get you out of here in no time.

[Breaking down the door is something he'd rather not do, but he hadn't had a chance to find the keys in the middle of all this chaos. He backs up, concentrating the fonons around his sword, and strikes.

The door splinters with a loud crack. He nudges open what's left of it and steps in.]

You all right?

[Estelle simply agrees, hoping it won't be too long. Or at least, if anyone is hurt, she can help heal them. In the meantime, she waits against the opposite wall, giving Guy plenty of room to break in. There's a smile and wave of relief when he gets inside, attempting to approach as best she can while tied.]

Guy! I'm fine. I doubt hurting me would have gotten them as much if they're wanting a ransom or something.

[Instinctively he takes a step back, hands already raising in a fashion warning her away. It's just Estelle. Calm down. He can't leave her tied up like this. Ignore how loud his heart's beating, do your work.]

Sorry. It's good to see that you're okay. [Guy exhales, shifts his grip on his sword.] Hold still. I'll get you out of these binds.

[Of course, Estelle always being the type to put others before her, she's usually pretty good about remembering how uncomfortable Guy can be around her if she gets too close. But right now they don't have too much choice. She needs to get closer in order for him to untie her hands. There's a nod of agreement and she tries to turn around, her back to him to give him better access to release her.]

I hope you didn't get in too much trouble coming to help. I'm sorry.

[He shakes his head, even if she can't see it. Despite her station--or perhaps, because of it--Estelle has always been conscientious of others. His tone's gentle.]

Ha ha, what are you talking about? Fixing trouble's part of being a servant. Taking care of Luke's taught me a thing or two about it, that's for sure.

[This detour was unfortunate, that Guy won't deny. But he knows that it's not her fault. Her station wasn't what she chose, or this situation. Blaming her for it wouldn't be fair.

He hesitates a moment before cutting the ropes, freeing her hands.]

Don't feel bad about it. I'm happy I can help see you home safe.

I suppose....I just wouldn't want anyone hurt or anything because of me.

[Even if she knows that this isn't entirely her fault, Estelle still feels a bit of a burden, relieved and stretching her arms and hands a bit once she's freed. She turns, giving him a grateful and reassuring smile as she shifts a bit to ensure him space now she is free, trying to keep his comfort in mind all the same with everything going on.]

Thank you, Guy. Lets keep going. I can help more with the guards once I have my sword back.

[Guy returns the smile with ease before turning his attention back towards the hallway. It's quieted down considerably, but he doesn't hear the usual clank clank that followed the armored footsteps of the Oracle Knights. It's worrying, to be honest, though he doesn't see any suspicious figures about. They'll have to be cautious.

Slowly, he eases out into the hallway and gestures for her to follow.]

That's right... you can fight, can't you? [Her being a healer and somewhat familiar with a sword was a good asset. If they worked together, they might be able to get out without too much fuss.] Do you have an idea of where they might've taken your equipment?

I can. I know how to use a sword. Our knights at the castle trained me so I could defend myself. So...hopefully this sort of thing wouldn't happen.

[Well. It probably has helped at least prevent this happening more often, in any case. She gives a nod, following him out to the hallway and looking to each side, considering.]

Perhaps they left it down the hall? I got the impression there was an armory of sorts....? At least, from what I heard them saying.

Let's try it. Even if we can't find your things, we can pick up something for you there.

[He pauses before giving her a look.]

... I'm not sure if the knights have cleaned up the way for us, so be careful and stick close.

Right. [There's a nod of agreement, of understanding. She stays close, following behind him while keeping an eye on their backs, lest any guards come up behind and try to sneak up on them while Guy is focusing forwards. She's hoping to find her sword. She's better with that, as impressive as her light magic can be.]

[The rest of the doors don't seem to be locked. No other prisoners were kept around here, he guesses. When he nudges open the last door he catches the glimmer of metal. The armory was here--

--and so was a guard.]

Look out! [He backs up, flinging out his arm as the enemy charges out.]

[Estelle almost runs ahead at the sight of the armory, but is stopped by Guy's arm stretching out, blocking her path ahead to her weapon and protecting her as there are more guards. Reinforcements sent at hearing the commotion, no doubt. She bites her lip and steps back, letting Guy take care of them with his sword while she attempts to assist with her light magic and healing as best she can.]

[A guard, he can handle by himself. Multiple guards, though, and heavily armored ones at that... he wasn't so certain. His fighting style was better suited for wider spaces than this hallway and he's half-afraid that he'll land a blow the wrong way.

Guy knocks down the armory's guard with a shove, blocks another's strike. They need to get out to somewhere where they can escape, before all the paths are sealed off.]

Estelle! Can you make an opening?
