DON'T MAKE ME TURN THIS CAR AROUND! Alas, you're the parent or the disgruntled friend who has had it up to here with all the fighting in the back. 6. OMG, I WANT TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THIS LANDMARK! No, no, and no. You tell that person that they're going to be driven around and they're going to like it. 7. THE GREAT ESCAPE Either dinosaurs or the mothman is chasing you. Don't stop now. 8. MAKE OUT~ You're now parked in one of the make-out points in this town. Did you know? Well, that's up to you, as is what you do next. 9. WE'RE SO LOST The map blew away when you were stupid enough to open the windows earlier. You know that old stereotype about how men never ask for directions but women will? Time to see if you're going to prove it right or not. Try not to fight over it too much, driving partners. 10. BUT OFFICER... Those flashing lights in your rearview mirror? Milling just out of visual sight is where they're doing, which is bad news for the cruise ships in the area. ]

[As in so many respects, Midgard seems to be well behind most of the other realms in the department of transportation. Take their flying machines, for instance. Aside from a few very select agencies and private citizens, the people of Earth have to resort to gigantic metal contraptions called airplanes if they want to go anywhere quickly. The things are unwieldy to control and hover only at the lower limit of aerodynamic design. And they move more slowly than some of the geese on Asgard. They're the size of small buildings and yet the people transported inside of them barely have room to breathe. And the air quality inside of them is enough to make one light-headed.

And yet, all of this notwithstanding, here are Loki and Amora sitting side by side in the cockpit of one of the smaller versions of these Midgardian airplanes, more or less willingly. They're bound for a tiny island in the Pacific ocean, one that is mostly a nature preserve and, more importantly, is difficult for a large SHIELD helicopter to land on. They're landing there only for a short while in order to evade the huge gang of SHIELD agents hunting them. It's been a dangerous and harrowing journey just to get this far. Unfortunately, now that they're more or less out of danger, another problem has arisen: as mentioned before, Midgardian airplanes take a long time to get anywhere. A long, boring time.

In the pilot's chair, Loki tips his head back with a sigh.]
