[He'd warned TJ a week ago, when he picked him up half dressed and wet on a night that was too cool for either. But taking a dip in that pool had apparently sobered TJ up just enough for him to realize that he was headed for trouble, that maybe he should call the man who would go to the ends of the earth to help him out of it. Steve considers that progress.

But he was still going to get sick. TJ hadn't believed him then, had called it an old wives tale for old wives like Steve to believe in. He never said 'I told you so' when the symptoms started to manifest. It's not that Steve's above being that kind of an ass, because he isn't. But he is above kicking a man when he's down. And TJ's definitely been down.]

Here we go. Ma's homemade chicken soup.

[He places the tray over TJ's lap before sitting back down at the side of his bed, where he's been stationed for the better part of three days. He's been worried about him, that much is obvious. Steve nods at the bowl.]

Except there's more chicken in that than there ever was in hers.

"I hate talking to these things. Just....ring me back.

[ October had messaged Alex earlier, asking if he felt up to dicking around the ship somewhere, but he said he wasn't feeling all that great. So instead of pressing it or asking for details, she just hit up medbay and one of the kitchens for some various supplies and headed to his room. Even if he doesn't want her to hang around and keep an eye on him, or just keep him company, she figures he could use the supplies. She even managed to find a small bag in the kitchen, so she's got hanging from her shoulder as she knocks on his door. ]

Where they came from, a day away from school could have meant anything; shapeshifters, evil hunters, possibly a rogue group of bigfoot (bigfeet? Allison wasn't sure) stumbling their way through the woods. Luckily, it was probably just the flu. Stiles' dad hadn't been specific when he'd mentioned it to Melissa who'd mentioned it to Scott, who'd let everyone know that Stiles was alright and not kidnapped by fairies or Peter or whatever decided to show up in Beacon Hills that week.

It had fallen on Allison to check up on Stiles after school, because Scott and Kira had lacrosse, Lydia was busy with her PSATs, and Isaac just simply didn't give a fuck if Stiles was dying of the black plague (which... Allison would have to chastise him about this later; this entire stupid rivalry of theirs was getting out of hand, and Allison didn't know how Scott felt, but she was tired of it). The Sheriff was leaving as Allison was arriving, and he let her in after a brief hug, headed off to his night shift at the station. She closes and locks the door behind her, and heads up the stairs to Stiles' room, tapping gently on his door before entering.

"Stiles? You awake?"

He found her on the verge of death and his blood did the job well, bringing her back before it was too late. He kept an eye on her to ensure he didn't accidentally 'create' a little mistake, but she seemed to be recovering... Until she got sick. With his blood in her system, he couldn't risk her dying, so he might have to stick this one out until she was well again.

When she woke up, she would find herself lying in a hotel bed with a doting vampire dabbing her forehead with a cool, damp wash cloth.
