"Well, look at that," Arthur said, admiring the copy the technician made and gave to them before they left the hospital. It was still crazy to him that this was really happening.

Ari was still grinning as she looked at the picture with him.

"I can't believe we got to hear the heartbeat," she said, in awe. That had been an emotional moment for her that really crystallized what was happening. She was carrying a living thing inside her; their baby.

"Yeah," he said, smiling at her. At a moment later, he leaned over and kissed her quickly.

She grinned at him before giving him another kiss. She'd been worried that he might feel overwhelmed at some point in the process of all this, but so far he seemed to be as excited as she was.

"I can't wait to send a picture of this to our parents," she said. They'd told their families the week prior and all had been ecstatic. Her mother was already planning the baby shower.

His mom was also very excited and said she couldn't wait to visit them and share her knowledge of child rearing. "Do me a favor and don't post it on facebook just yet," he said.

"Why not?" she asked, looking confused.

"Internet security isn't that great all around right now," he explained.

"Oh," she said, biting her lip. "Are you worried about our old clients or colleagues finding out?"

She wasn't going to bring up Cobol, but she worried about them from time to time.

"Well, both," he replied. He'd always been worried and it wasn't that hard to hack into a computer system or any database, really.

"Okay," she said. "We'll have to tell my family too. They'll want to post stuff online."

"Sorry about that," he said, feeling slightly embarrassed about a no-posting-on-the-internet restriction.

"Don't be," she said. "I want to keep us safe as much as you do."

She'd already removed anyone from her Facebook that she wasn't close friends or family with and had the strictest security settings. They couldn't be too careful when it came to their family.

He nodded. That was what he was worried about the most was their safety.

"We'll be fine," she said, kissing him again. "Not being able to brag to Facebook about how brilliant and beautiful our child is, is a small price to pay for our safety."

He laughed just as they reached their car in the parking structure. He unlocked the doors and went around to open her door for her.

She smiled and got into the passenger's seat, buckling up as she waited for him to get in the other side. She looked down at the ultrasound picture again.

"Home?" He asked. They had chosen a hospital much closer to their house.

"Yeah," she said as she looked up from the image and smiled at him.

He smiled back as he started the car and drove out of the parking structure.

"Are you going to make dinner?" she asked. "Or should we pick something up?"

"I'll make dinner." He'd recently gotten a pregnancy cookbook he'd been getting a lot of milage out of. He made her a turkey burger, numerous salads, and other healthy things.

She laughed at him when he bought it, but she'd honestly been enjoying the things he made so far.

"Okay," she said. "Do we have any bacon?"

He sighed. "I'll need to pick that up if you really want it."
