The Highly Inappropriate Sexual Tension Meme
![]() The Highly Inappropriate Sexual Tension Meme |
Touches. Glances. Sides brushing, so close to each other. The moment is, most likely, quite, subdued, and calm. Or it could be loud and full of life, right in the middle of a vivacious party. Yet, no matter the case, your blood is pumping - no, nearly boiling with the passion bubbling between you and your companion. Unfortunately, this sexual tension is completely and absolutely out of line. Whether it be the place, the time, your relationship with the person (be that literal relation or power difference, age difference, experience difference, and so on), your own lack of knowledge, or personal convictions, you should not act on any building desires. But here's the thing about tension: it builds. It builds, and it builds, until... Well, even subtlety can come to an inappropriate head. HOW TO PLAY

Stiles Stilinski | Teen Wolf | OTA

That's why there's a girl in purple shorts sitting in the police station this afternoon - not the usual teen one finds coming in for questioning. Though it seems like she's the one asking more questions that they can't seem to answer because they don't have a full understanding themselves.
Maybe she's in way over her head. That's not something Kate wants to admit right away. The sheriff kindly (with a long-suffering sigh because, god, does this girl ask a lot of questions) asks her to take a seat and Kate eventually does, slumping over, pulling her flopping sunhat over her eyes. ]

He was on one such case right now, skidding into the station with a brown paper bag that held a treat for his dad. It was low fat and diet, but it was a treat and he could just be grateful his son cared.
There was a girl on the bench who looked like she was half asleep and Stiles stepped around her feet, heading for his dad's office before a hand up had him stumbling to a stop. His dad was on the phone, gesturing for him to go wait since it was in regards to 'things Stiles doesn't need to hear'. Stiles gave him an eye roll and went to go join the girl on the bench, shooting half glances over at her as he did. What'd she do, get pulled in for parking tickets?]

She half smiles at him from under her hat, unfolding her arms and adjusting her posture as she does so. ] 'Hey,' [ Kate mouths, all friendly. ]
no subject
God, waiting was so hard. Why couldn't he have brought in a game or something? At least his seat partner wasn't cuffed to the seat. That boded well. Maybe she'd lost a dog or something. He couldn't remember seeing her before so maybe she was new to town. Only one way to find out.]
You, uh, you lose something?
no subject
I mean, I understand, but I do have the credentials. Pretty much. [ Kate folds the brim of her hat up to actually get a good look at him, dropping the coy act. ] I'm just passing through town, got curious, that's all. [ Back east, they called her a goddamn problem. Not much changes when you switch coasts. ]

[Because that was a pretty clear distinction. And Stiles was very used to walking that line that twisted things and relied on false information or just not saying the whole truth. He recognized it easily enough as she looked over at him.]
What, uh, brings a maybe-detective out here to pass through?
no subject
[ And that is the truth. She nods over at him. ] Come here often? [ The irony of such a question isn't lost on her and she chuckles. ]
no subject
So that makes you... seventeen?
[Hah, right.]
Yeah, but not for anything I could get caught for.
no subject
Is he your dad? [ Private investigations aside, he's caught her interest for the time being and she leans in, just a tad, in interest. ] Unless you frequently bribe policemen with food. That's totally your prerogative. Maybe I should have done that, actually.
no subject
[He knew they weren't passing out detective licenses to minors, otherwise his dad would have given him one to shut him up ages ago.]
What, who? Oh, yeah. Yeah, no, that's, uh, that's my pops. He giving you a hard time?
[Part of him was proud of that, because his dad was in the know now and knew better than to just take things at face value, but, as a fellow snoop, he knew the annoyance that could bring.]
Pretty sure most places wouldn't consider this a bribe. Most cops I know think carob should be an outlawed substance.
no subject
I don't have the power to outlaw fake chocolate, though. [ She wrinkles her nose, laughing. ] But, uh, no, your dad's being unusually understanding to my nosing around. Like, unusually understanding.
no subject
[But carob was better for him and therefore that would be what Stilinski sr ate, okay? Okay.]
no subject
But my real name is Kate. [ She winks, flicking some of her hair out of her face. Smooooth operator. (What? He's cute.) ]
no subject
[He smirked over at her, though the smirk sort of wavered at the wink, pink hitting his cheeks that he tried to pretend wasn't there. Nope. He didn't blush just because a hot girl winked at him. He was way cooler than that. (No he wasn't)]
Kate. Uh, hi. I'm Stiles.
no subject
Nice to meet you, Swear to God One More Time. [ She tips her hat at him, all gentlemanly, ] You ... I guess maybe I should have just asked you about all the weird rumors I've picked up about this town, huh.
no subject
Ah, weird rumors? What, um, weird rumors?
[Shady shifting in his seat.]
no subject
I dunno, maybe the insane death count compared to the actual town population? Probably the biggest red flag here. [ Her eyebrows have disappeared under her bangs at this point. ] Considering that you're a snoop and I'm a snoop ... Or you can just keep me in the dark, that's okay, I guess.
[ But her tone has a pouting quality to it and her shoulders slump. ] But maybe this isn't the place to discuss this type of thing.
no subject
[He wanted to be defensive about it, but he knew it was a lie and it was hard to bring up the right amount of offense.]
I'm not...
[Leaving her in the dark? Yeah, he kind of was. If he'd had to do it to his dad, no way was a pretty pair of eyes getting it that easily. Nope.]
It wouldn't be if there was anything to discuss.
Which there's not.
no subject
[ Baloney. There's something they're protecting here. Shame she is getting nowhere here. She would have liked making out with him after her investigation.
Alas. Kate reaches for her tote bag, making to finally leave. ] Guess I'd better just grab a bite and then go.
no subject
[Totally casual. Nothing to see here, folks.]
no subject
Dunno. I could... use some suggestions.
no subject
[LOOK AT HOW SMOOTH HE WAS, OKAY? He was like.. oil slick.]
no subject
Diner food. Definitely diner food and bottomless coffee. Pancakes, too.
no subject
Yeah? Well, there's a pretty decent one a couple blocks away. Not sure about the coffee decency, but it's bottomless.
