The Headcanon Meme

(From: XKCD)

What is a muse, but a muse? While there may be canonical facts that every character shares, how we interpret certain aspects of their personalities and actions can definitely differ. Or perhaps your muse is a creation of your own devising, someone from an AU verse, or have been around long enough to diverge from what is known.

Whatever the case, we all have our own little facts and pieces for our characters that we may not have the opportunity to share. Now's you chance.

1. Leave a comment with your character name, series and any number of personal headcanon facts you care to share.

2. That's it.

Anastasia/The Red Queen (Once Upon a Time in Wonderland)

1. Anastasia didn't love the Red King, but she did mostly respect him for granting her the opportunity for status. Though she shows no grief that he's been gone (likely dead) for some time, she did not kill him. That was the doing of her mentor, Cora. She believed Anastasia wouldn't live up to her full potential if the young queen still feared the consequences of learning magic (something the king disapproved of).

2. The death of the Red King was what finally opened Anastasia's eyes to Cora's truly manipulative nature and made her pursue the notion of defying the laws of magic.

3. Anastasia grew up a fairly spoiled child with the tendency to look down upon others. When her mother remarried, she thought it might be exciting to have a step-sister, but their outward natures were so drastically different that Ana began to resent Ella for how 'good' she was.

4. Partially through happenstance, Anastasia prevented the White Rabbit from crossing paths with Cora, the Queen of Hearts.

5. Every once in a great while she wonders what's become of her mother, sisters, and step-sister.

6. In the picking up of traditional skills, Anastasia was a bit slower than average, prompting quite a bit of scolding from her mother about how she'd never amount to anything if she didn't focus.

7. Though she frequently (and flawlessly) dons red royal ensembles, her favorite colors are secretly shades of pink and purple.

8. [More to come?]
