1. TRAPPED IN AN ELEVATOR The old standby. You're stuck until someone can rescue you, or until one or both of you can get this box moving again.

2. TRAPPED IN AN UNDERGROUND BUNKER Maybe there's a nuclear winter, or maybe you were just exploring and wandered in here. Either way? Right now, you're stuck.

3. TRAPPED IN A CAR You were driving long-distance when your ride broke down, so now you're stuck in the middle of nowhere until else someone happens by.

4. TRAPPED IN A MALL AFTER HOURS Somehow, you managed to get stuck in the mall after closing. Maybe you fell asleep in the bathroom, or were hiding in the back of the bookstore, but now the doors are locked, and you've got the whole place almost to yourself.

5. TRAPPED IN A MAZE Entering that maze seemed like such a good idea, didn't it? Only now you can't find your way out, and you're pretty sure you're not alone in here...

[ It's stupid... How Goto could've been stuck in anywhere but mall, he's stuck in one instead. He's not even the type to spend his time in a mall for such a long time too, he had been there because he was looking for a present for a friend and then stupidly gets distracted by a rather peculiar book about a certain childhood idol of his, Harakiri Sunshine - it's for children, but ssh.

He didn't even know it's been that late. Shouldn't the mall authority announce that it's closing more clearly and louder? Shouldn't a police officer realize this before it's too late? But that is beside his point. So here is Goto, wandering the inside of the bookstore looking for a way out... Maybe there's somebody else who is as unlucky to be stuck here... ]

Hello, anyone there?

[Marvelous is about ready to shoot something. Someone. Both. He's been sent down to Earth to look for a stupid birthday present for stupid Gai, when everyone knows that Ahim and Hakase are much better at looking for stupid presents than he is. It's not that he doesn't want Gai to have a good birthday. It's just that he's much better suited to sitting and eating than he is to... shopping. But Ahim and Hakase gave him identical lower lip out looks and so off he went.]

[Apparently Gai wants a book on sentai. Really, he should be writing his own by now.]

[Marvelous is particularly pissy because he got sidetracked looking at a recipe book, wondering which one of twelve or so elaborate cakes he could wheedle out of Joe or Hakase, but now everything's quiet and the store appears to be shut. He's hungry, and unimpressed, but knows it wouldn't go down particularly well if he shot his way out.]

[He's stalking along the main corridor of the bookstore looking for a staff member, but then he hears a quiet voice behind him. His instincts strike him and he dives and rolls into Seafaring Tales, and comes up with a pistol pointed at whoever it is.]

[ He hears someone moving in the shadow while he is walking along, and Goto's first instinct is to fight - which he is stupidly proud about, seeing it wasn't run! instead. After a quick turn, Goto takes a step back in an instinct, though, his arms in defensive stance as he slowly blinks at the figure before him with a gun pointed. At him.

It's never easy to hold a gun, but it's even harder to have one pointed at you. ]

Okay... Obviously neither of us are threatening to each other now.

[ Note to self; never a good idea to be sarcastic when a gun is aimed at you. ]

[The man in front of him moves into a defensive position, but doesn't do a damn thing beyond that.]

[....annoying.]

[Marvelous wants to shoot something, but he can't shoot someone who's not even trying to attack him.]

[He snorts at the comment, but lowers his pistol. Doesn't holster it for the moment.]

[Irritable but genuine.] I won't shoot you if you don't shoot me, kid.

[ 'Kid'. Goto wants to be pissed, but figures it's better to wave it off like an unnecessary comment from an irritable youth anyway, which it is. He relaxes his arms, slowly breaking the defensive gesture and putting both hands to the side to show he is unarmed. ]

I don't have the instrument to do so anyway.

[ Calmly. He somehow manages to have his eyes to dart around their surrounding before he's back to keeping an eye contact to the man in front of him. Suffice to say, it's really not easy when you're unarmed next to someone who is. ... Not that he wishes he were. He wishes the other person weren't. ]
