[ The walls supposed to be protecting humanity get more and more screwed up every time someone gets too close to one of them. Joanna's stopped being really surprised by anything anymore, between the shifters and Titans in the goddamn walls. She always knew the world was a messed up place, things just keep confirming that.

Like this. A clash with Titans a little too close to that point on Wall Maria that glimmered when it shouldn't have and everything was just enough off to throw Joanna for a loop. Except for Jaeger, because nothing bad happens to her without Jaeger around (her luck).

She's pretty sure she hit her head during the fight, but that doesn't change what she assumes is still their fellows in the Survey Corps, and it doesn't explain the bright red colouring to her face as she steals a moment to stop Jaeger, catching her arm and leaning in. ]

Sasuke never usually leaves an opening for him during their sparring sessions. That's probably what makes her slip-up on this approach so glaringly obvious to him, and as she dashes forward his instincts lurch him into a sudden, violent surge forward, claws outstretched towards her throat-

[She mutters to herself, pushing her hair out of her face and wiping the sweat off her forehead. Calcutta is sinfully hot, though it's usually not this bad this late at night, and after chasing a little girl through the city for the better part of the last half hour, Bea is out of breath and sticky and sort of wanting to go home and lie down in as cool a shadow as possible and clock a good ten hours of sleep.

She's going to have to do it, too, because if she pushes herself much further than this she is going to get tetchy, and that isn't something she can let happen.

This is what is playing through her mind when she turns around, shouldering her medical bag, and realizes that she has been led here for a purpose. Looking Nathan over, something in her hindbrain starts screaming at her, reminding her of just how badly this could go. She goes perfectly, dangerously still, and waits for him to move first.]

[It isn't Bruce's fault, this time. Loki is just a bit of a tremendous bastard, that's all, and apparently still hasn't forgiven the whole 'tossed around by the ankles like a ragdoll' bit.

Either way, Bruce is apparently stuck like this for the next little while (Thor swears it will last a day or two at most) so best make the most of it. She (she's adopting a 'she' pronoun for herself in her head, for the time being, it feels less confusing and she does feel like her brain has flipped and rescrambled itself a little to go along with her form) is lounging around the tower, albeit in one of the back rooms in Tony's lab so that no one else will find her.

Clothing had been something of an issue. The shoes were a loss, so she's barefoot, and the chinos fit rather more snugly on the hips than they did before. She's forgone her usual button-downs (they hang around her like tents, now, sleeves too long for her arms and too bulky to roll up comfortably) and is in a pilfered SHIELD issued t-shirt instead. Even her traitorous glasses are too big now; they keep escaping down her nose as she tries to read.

Bruce has perhaps underestimated the impact of Tony coming home to find a total stranger deep in her sanctum, whoops.]
