I'll eventually use a gif from a show that's not Inuyasha

The person you care for the most been pushed to the edge. How or why doesn't matter so much now, what matters is that now, they're a danger. To themselves, to others -
To you.
But you're the only one who can bring them back. The bond you have - realized or unrealized - is the strongest weapon now. You have to help them. If you don't, they could be lost forever. Or worse, someone else might have to take action. And if that's the case, it may as well be you.
HOW TO PLAY
- Reply with your character and preferences.
- Mention whether or not you want to play the one reaching out or the one being reached or if you're open to both. Seriously guys, this is important, don't just leave your comment blank. Feel free to include other relevant information.
- Tag others.
TYPE OF BRINK
- Power Surge: Their abilities are going nuts and they can't control themselves.
- Anger: They're beyond the pale in their anger, perhaps at something done to them, done to you, or the situation in general. They're going berserk.
- Sadness: The despair is destroying them. They're wailing, self-destructing, or even catatonic.
-Mental Breakdown: They're not aware of what's real or what's not anymore. They're frightened or lashing out.
- Possession or Brainwashing: It's not them, but it's their body and they're somewhere in there. You can reach them.
WHAT YOU DO
- The Truth: A confession about how much they mean to you might remind them of what's important.
- Touch: Reach out and pull them back.
- Comfort: Do anything that's special between them to reassure them that you're you and it's all right.
- Embrace: Hug them, either for the merit of hugging itself or to hold them back physically.
- Kiss: Extreme cases call for extreme measures.
- Violence: Whether it be a slap or a full on gut punch, maybe they need some manual recalibration.
- Risk: You'll jump into the line of fire just to stop this madness.
- Shock: You plan to do something so out of character it will bring them back to reality.
- Passivity: If need be, you'll let them hurt you as much as they need to get it out of them.
- Mercy Killing: You can't get through to them. But if anyone has to kill them, it's going to be you.
Gen gen so much gen
ALL THE GEN
UNLEASH THE TEAL DEER.
The Hurricane's Whisper. The Green Whirlwind. These were some of the names Six had acquired throughout the years as a mercenary assassin. Like the rest of his "family", he was the adult Boogeyman: a phantasm that you might catch a glimpse of out of the corner of your eye as it either passes you by or strikes you down.
For the past five years, no one had fallen to his blade. Some even had started to believe he'd died.
Once he'd agreed to become Rex's partner again after losing his memories, he'd kept those names in the past. He used the magna blades to injure but not kill, keeping them clean of the slaughter he was capable of. He'd sheathed his old katana for the last time and had bid the life he'd once lived goodbye.
But every man had a breaking point, a line that once his enemies crossed it would bring out the worst in him.
To Six, that line was harming the people he loved. Holiday would live, but her attackers would not. Six would make sure of that.
He'd left his magna blades behind, not wanting to stain them with the carnage that would happen this night. It was also a mute apology to the people who'd held his leash: Knight, Holiday, and Rex. His morals were gray area on his best days. Tonight, however, they'd be back firmly in the red, and he'd be unlikely to ever return to the plant.
The guards on the outer perimeter of the compound didn't even have time to scream as the old katana sliced cleanly into them. Not instant kills but they still died within a few minutes though still in terrible agony. He wanted them to suffer some of the pain they'd inflicted on Holiday.
He flicked the blade in his hand, clearing it of some of the blood, before he continued the advance. He'd never enjoyed his jobs before outside of the challenge to his skills they presented. Tonight, however, he'd delight in the way steel would sing as it sliced through flesh and bone along with the screams that accompanied it.
There would be no one left by the time Six was done.
/HERDS THEM DEER
...until White Knight called him to warn that Six had gone off the grid.
It was the only thing that could get Rex to move from the chair by Holiday's bed, and even then he paused briefly to put one hand over hers in a silent promise that he'd be back with Six. Then Rex was out the door, running hard through the halls as information poured in over his earpiece, giving him a direction to go in once he left the base.
By the time Rex arrived, he was too late to save the guards on the outer perimeter. From the look of them, though, from how they'd died, it was a sure thing they hadn't been dead for very long. Their corpses hadn't even had adequate time to cool, yet.
Switching on the night vision setting on his goggles, Rex entered the compound. He'd have to be cautious - there was a lot at stake, there. Not only did he need to watch out for himself, but he needed to both track Six and catch up with him before too many more people died. He understood Six's anger, knew that want for vengeance, but this wasn't the right way...

Let them come. He was ready to bathe in blood.
