[ ah, and then he presses his lips together into a tight line, considering it. it all happened rather quickly. ]

There's always a chance she regrets it, too, but I can't speak for her putting others under her control. [ in all honesty, she doesn't know. she just remembers the hospital, and lacey, and then neverland, and everything is a muddle of confusion after that.

[ well, his smile dims a little around the edges, giving way to something more morose. graham's memories of his last couple of days in storybrooke aren't the best, nor are his memories of what happened his favorite, but—

not all of it is so terrible. only a degree of it had been until he remembered, after all. there was no adjustment period, though. none of it had settled. ]

[ wanting to be better is a step in the right direction. it was more than he'd ever seen, anyway. if regina can somehow hold onto that rather than all of her hatred and bitterness, she might have a good chance. but then, graham has never been all that good with people. ]

Old habits being what they are.

[ which isn't condoning what's happened. it's an attempt to understand, if anything. darkness has had a hold on belle, something she never wanted, giving her insight that she never necessarily had before - an expounding on her own intuition. experience is the best teacher, and all. ]

Storybrooke was created because of what she wanted. Maybe - maybe the opposite can be true, as well.

Would she, though? [ truly give up her control over it, because that would be what it would take, he thinks. instead of mine, regina would need to look at it as ours, maybe. a shake of his head and he swallows back a sigh. ] For Henry.
