Nagisa is still in the shadows, because you know what, sometimes things can get too loud even for him, and he's pretty good at knowing when to extricate himself.
"Momoi-chaaan," he sings out softly as she approaches.
"It was the best place I could find," he says. "Rin-chan did say this party might get kind of . . ." He gestures somewhat extravagantly in place of finishing his sentence, because what Rin had actually said was seriously stay the fuck away from that shithole, Nagisa, it won't end well and Nagisa doesn't feel the need to advertise his own terrible judgment.
Momoi just nods and listens to her friend. She had been to many parties seeking out information on other teams, so she had been given many such warnings over the years. She was happy to lend Nagi-kun her help in escaping now.
"Do you want to sneak out with me? We can go jump into the pool and wash the night away."

"Right! Let's go then." She whispers happily back before slowly standing and heading towards the exit. Of course she wasn't going to lecture! She already gets those all the time.
As promised, no one pays them the slightest bit of attention; a couple guys has been a little too focused on him before, but they're drunk enough that out of sight is out of mind; it's entirely possible that they've forgotten Nagisa even exists. Which is fine with him.
Still, it's nice to have someone else with him just in case it hadn't gone quite so smoothly.
Once they're safely away, he raises his arms in triumph.
Nagisa hugs her right back, because hugs are awesome.
"I was always safe!" he declares. It may not be entirely true, but as far as Nagisa is concerned, it's close enough. Dwelling on the negative isn't his style. He won't go to another party there and that's all he needs to even bother remembering about it.
Well, that and Momoi willingly coming to his rescue, but he already knew that would happen.
"Of course you were. You just wanted to see my pretty face." She teases. Though Nagisa was right. Momoi would alays come to her friends rescue, as he had come to hers several time when she needed him. After all, the guys that went after her weren't the same as the ones that went after him.
"How about we get some late night pancakes?" Girls night out!
"Yeah!" Pancakes are always a good choice. The fact that Momoi totally gets that is one of the things Nagisa likes about her. He loves his other friends, of course, but none of them would see the fun of late night pancakes. They've at least given up on trying to get him to stick to some kind of nutrition plan during the season, but that's as close as they're ever gonna get.
