TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

i. ACTION.

① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
③ Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
④ Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.
⑤ Fight with a friend → You're fighting with a friend, all out.
⑥ Interrogation → You're being interrogated for some offense you've done.
⑦ Aliens → Aliens are attacking and you're not going to take your probe laying down!
⑧ Final battle → This is it. The battle that will end all the fighting for you. Will you win? Will you get that peace you want?
⑨ Training → You're not actually fighting, just training for the inevitable.
⑩ No hope → You know this fight has no hope. It's not going to end well for anyone involved, but you can't turn away.
⑪ Sneaking in → You're stealing a diamond or sneaking in to kick some bad guy butt, but whatever it is, you have to practice stealth.
⑫ Blue wire → You're faced with a bomb that needs to be disarmed.
⑬ Fight for honor → You've been disgraced or someone you care about has, so it's time to fight for honour.
⑭ Showdown → Time for a cowboy-style showdown. Whoever draws the fastest wins.
⑮ War → You're caught in the middle of a war here. Remember to keep your chin up and keeping fighting.
⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.

ii. ANGST.

① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.

iii. CRACK.

① Sexswap → Uh-oh, you're suddenly the opposite sex!
② Forced confessions → No matter what it is and no matter how hard you resist, you're going to be compelled to spill some deep dark secret!
③ Mind-reading → You've suddenly got the ability to read minds!
④ Animal → You're suddenly part animal or transformed into an animal!
⑤ Awkward pick-up lines → You're compelled to use bad pickup lines on whoever is closest!
⑥ Back in School / Graduated → You're suddenly back in school! Or if you were already in it, you've aged and long since graduated!
⑦ Vampires, werewolves, and zombies, oh my! → You're suddenly a vampire, werewolf, or zombie! Maybe even a demon or a devil, whatever creepy crawly you can think of. What do you do now?
⑧ Ghost → You're suddenly a ghost or at least invisible. What are you going to do with this new ability?
⑨ Awkward conversations → So did you just fart or what? Any conversation goes, as long as it's embarrassing and awkward.
⑩ Crossdressing → For whatever reason, you're suddenly dressed in clothes of the opposite sex.
⑪ Suddenly naked → Oops! Your clothes are suddenly gone.
⑫ Suddenly a kid → You're a kid again! Have fun with that second childhood.
⑬ Fortune cookie → You've suddenly received a note with something that will happen in the future, either precise or vague.
⑭ Super power → And suddenly you're like Superman! Any power goes.
⑮ Bodyswap → Somehow you've changed bodies with the other person.
⑯ Back in time → Somehow, you wound up in the past again. Do you try to correct something or just sit and wait for time to jump? Maybe it jumps to various points in your life or maybe you actually think you're back in the day. Have fun, run wild with the idea!
⑰ To the future → Is it everything you've dreamed? Is it horrible? Whatever happens, you're here to witness what happens to you in the future. Either you take the place of your future self or you're just there to watch. Might cause some confusion if people start seeing double though...
⑱ Angels, mermaids, and fairies! → You're not necessary something dark or evil. You're just something different. How do you deal?
⑲ Locked in a closet → For some reason, you're locked up in a closet with someone else. Do you make nice and try to figure your way out or what?
⑳ Finger trap → You're caught in a Chinese finger trap... with somebody else! You can't figure out how to get loose either... have fun with that.

iv. FLUFF.

① Cuddling → For whatever reason, characters feel like being close and cuddling.
② Pillow talk → After the main event, characters are up for some pillow talk.
③ Celebration → Anniversary or some other big event is taking place and characters want to celebrate!
④ Love confession → Someone has finally decided to confess their love and today is the day!
⑤ Appreciation → You feel the need to show appreciation for that person closest to you, even if it's just a pat on the back.

v. GEN.

① Nice meeting you → It's your first time meeting this person! You bumped into each other on the street, in a bar, at work... whatever!
② Drinks → You're out for drinks! Or just chilling at home with some beers. Wherever!
③ Lost → You're lost and you kind of need help finding your way to where you're going. A little help with directions?
④ Costume party → You're at a costume party, both of you are wearing masks. Do you keep the anonymity or take it off and see whose company you've been enjoying?
⑤ Wrong number → Oops, actually you didn't mean to call that person...
⑥ Drunk → You're already drunk! Drunk dialing, stumbling into someone, showing up unexpected... what type of drunk are you anyway? Aggressive, loving, happy? How does the other react?
⑦ Old friends → you haven't seen this person in a long time!
⑧ Rivals → you're suddenly rivals! Or maybe you have been all along...
⑨ Problems → you've got a problem with each other, just got in a huge fight, whatever. Try to work it out!
⑩ What are your intentions... → This person? They're dating a close friend, family member, etc. You need to find out if they're going to hurt them! Or you need to discuss your friend/family's dating choice.
⑪ I saw you → you saw the other person doing something bad and you need to confront them about it.
⑫ Sorry but no → the other person has feelings that you just don't share. They don't necessarily have to be romantic... maybe you just don't agree with their sudden desire to quit their job and start a business making tiny, fuzzy teddy bears.
⑬ My hero → you need to tell this person how much they mean to you. They've been your best friend or your role model your whole life and they need to know.
⑭ Enabler → you're enabling the other (or each other) to do something bad, really bad. Addiction, stealing, killing, or just any other self-destructive behavior.

⑯ Oh, sure, I remember you... → It's that awkward moment when someone comes up and seems to know you, but you have no idea who they even are!

[ I rolled a 3 under 'angst', you okay with spoilers from the winter finale? ]

[ It was good of Mary Margaret and David to let them stay in their castle, but sometimes he felt that them all being together here only made the pain worse. It was one of those nights again, where he couldn't sleep without dreaming of the last time he saw his family.

Neal sat in the courtyard, looking up at the stars, with a bottle of some kind of alcohol he'd sneaked out of the kitchens. The last thing he expected, or wanted, was for Hook to find him. Maybe if he ignored him, he'd go away. ]

[It had been nice of the Charmings to allow the Storybooke refugees to congregate in their castle and despite the fact that the Jolly Roger was waiting for him in the nearby harbor, Hook was reluctant to be on his way. At least here, among her loved ones, he still felt a connection to Emma. Whether he was welcome or not, he didn't much care. He'd returned to Neverland for these people, the least they could do was give him this.

Hook hadn't been looking for Neal either, though he'd had the same idea. His ever present bottle of rum was hanging from his finger half full as be wandered into the courtyard. It took him a good few moments to realize he wasn't alone and then he raised his bottle to Neal.]

Seems we are of similar mind tonight, mate.

[ Apparently not.

Neal turned to look at the pirate, taking another swig from the bottle he was holding in response. It wasn't beer, but it was something that felt a hell of a lot stronger.

He'd seen Hook around the castle occasionally since they'd appeared back in the Enchanted Forest, but they hadn't spoken since Storybrooke. The memory of their last conversation was a bitter one, but he couldn't muster up the energy to fuel that anger. He just felt tired. ]

What're you doing here?

[Neal but had to ask and Hook would have shared his rum. Shared wallowing and all that.

Especially since Hook felt the same. He missed Emma, and surprisingly Henry, like a hole in his heart and that drowned out everything. There was no point giving in to anger or anything else when it would do no good.

He wandered over slowly, waiting for a sign he should stop.]

I imagine the same as you. Missing what was left behind.

[ Whatever sign Hook was looking for, Neal was feeling slightly more generous now that it occurred to him the grating of the nerves he usually felt in the pirate's presence was missing.

Maybe it was because with her being a world away, their feud seemed so insignificant and little now.

Neal huffed. ]

Feels like that's all we ever do anymore. [ He goes quiet for a moment. ] I'm surprised you're still here. Thought you'd be gone on your ship by now.

[Hook kept coming until he found a spot on the wall he could lean against near where Neal was sitting. He'd had enough rum at that point to have the fear that if he sat down, he'd end up sleeping in the courtyard. Charming hadn't stopped teasing him after the last time.

It was insignificant and just all around unsatisfying. What was the point in feuding over a woman they could very well never see again? That and Hook did have a small bit of respect for Neal that wasn't worth losing.]

Aye, I'll agree with you. Rather sad isn't it? [Neal asked a fair question and Hook actually debated for a moment on whether or not to answer, and how. But if anyone would understand...] Thought about it. Many times in fact. But...all I have left of her is here and I'm not ready to leave that. Not just yet.

I think if she were here, she'd kick both our asses for being so damn depressing. [ He took another drink before cracking a small smile and a light chuckle.

Neal does understand that, surprisingly. To be frankly honest, that was part of the reason he was still here. Belle had wanted to go back to his father's castle, and he'd convinced her to stay for a little while with him, but he knew they couldn't stay here forever. ]

We're going to see them again. One way or another.

[ That thought, that single belief, is the only thing that has kept him going this far but it's starting to ring hollow even to him. It's strange that he should be trying to give comfort to Hook of all people, but here they were. ]

[Hook burst out laughing and took a moment to regain himself.] You are right, she would. After she boggled at us being civil to one another.

[Maybe they couldn't stay there forever but at least until it wasn't so painful.

He lifted his rum bottle in salute.] Of that I have no doubt. Not with the Charmings doing everything possible to get back to that world.

[It was a border lined obsession for the royal couple. They couldn't recreate Storybrooke or ask Regina for help without risking Pan's curse but they were trying to get back. The latest lead seemed to be a rabbit from Wonderland.]

She won't remember us, though. [That was what mostly bugged Hook. Regina had taken their memories of Storybrooke. Even if they did see them again...they'd be strangers.] Well...perhaps not you. The father of her child and all.

[He was too tired to even be jealous]

[ His barely lightened spirit immediately dies at that.

Hook doesn't know their history, before Storybrooke. Neal looks down, knowing that she would only remember Neal Cassidy, and Tallahassee and broken dreams, and none of searching for Baelfire and finding him and trying to make up for past wrongs. ]

I almost wish she wouldn't. All she remembers is that I'm the son of a bitch who let her take the fall for me. [ He says it grimly, accompanied by another gulp of what he was starting to suspect was some kind of ale.

Still, he couldn't bring himself to be anything less than grateful to Regina, for what she did. Emma and Henry's memories of Storybrooke and what happened there would have disappeared the moment the town did, but she gave them something better in its place. She gave them each other. ]

They deserve to be happy. With or without us. [ He snorts lightly. ] Preferably with, but here we are.

She forgave you once, Bae. She very well could do it again.

[Bad or worse, she would still remember him. He'd have a place to start. He knew what Emma would see when she looked at him, a flamboyant man in ridiculous clothes per her world with a hook for a hand. Not someone she'd shared adventures and at least grew to be friends with.

But Hook had to nod at Neal's last statement. At least neither of them were alone.]

Despite this being her fault to begin with...Regina did the right thing. [He held out his bottle in a toast then took a long drink.]

You said we. I'm not included in that, am I? [He knew he wasn't, he shouldn't even ask. But he'd never been good at leaving well enough alone.]

[ Neal turns to look at Hook, really look at him, at his question.

Somewhat similar to with his father, it was hard to remember a time when he'd been with Hook, and it hadn't sucked. At least, not after he found out Hook was the reason why he had no mother growing up, and sent him right back into Pan's clutches. And then Emma and his father had found him in New York, bringing him back into all of this magic crap, and the first thing Hook did was make good on his promise of revenge on his father.

He drains his bottle. ]

I'm gonna need a lot more alcohol if we're having this conversation. [ Frankly, it was probably the reason (at least partially) why he hadn't already shut it down. ]

[Hook knew he really had no right to ask, after everything he'd done. Granted, he didn't feel remorse for some of it, including falling in love with Milah and taking his revenge on the Crocodile. But he'd thought he'd made up for a lot by taking them to Neverland and helping them defeat his worst enemy. Emma certainly hadn't minded him.

But he was a pirate and he was used to people screwing him over. It was his lot in life.

So instead of making Neal have a conversation he didn't want, Hook began to laugh it off. It was easier for them both.]

I know the answer, mate. Don't worry. I couldn't resist.

[ There's a lot he could say, a lot of history there to throw out, but Neal just fiddles with his empty bottle. It should have been a simple thing to just hate Hook. He had more than enough reason to. He should take the way out that Hook is leaving him now, make it easier on both of them. But he can't honestly say that he does, and the alcohol is leaving his tongue looser than usual.

Neal doesn't look him in the eye when he instead speaks quietly. ]

Do you?

[ Once, he thought Hook could be his new family. A pirate who, contrary to all he knew, rescued and hid him from Pan. Who taught him how to sail, and swordfight. Who offered his ship as a home for a young, lost boy.

It was hard remembering that, considering what happened afterwards. It was like a glimpse of the possibility of a happy ending that never quite got there, and then got dumped on a horrific magic island for a couple centuries. Which sucked. ]

[The rum bottle stopped on the way to his mouth as Hook arched a confused eyebrow at Neal. He had fully expected him to take the way out he'd provided and wouldn't have blamed him. The fact he hadn't was...very surprising.

The rum bottle dropped without him taking a drink.]

I thought I did. Am I wrong?

[Hook had wanted to be that new family for Baelfire, more then he would be able to tell the grown up Neal. He would have done everything for that boy, in memory of his mother. Been the father the Crocodile could never be.

But things had been beyond his control and he regretted it for those same centuries Neal had been trapped on the island.]

Depends what you thought.

[ Since seeing him again, they'd never really spoken about what happened between them all that time ago. It was never the right time, with his father nearly dying, and then Tamara, which led into the big mess that was Neverland, and then it just wasn't important enough to bring up.

Especially given what Hook had done to help them in the meantime, it just seemed better to let sleeping dogs lie. ]

I'm not going to be included in any happy family reunion. I have no doubt your charming parents in law will wait until I've sailed off before putting any plan in action to get their wayward family members back.

[He gave Neal a steady look, one that had no right to be so steady given how much rum he'd consumed but he'd had a lot of practice, almost daring him to refute him.

He didn't blame them, he didn't. He was grateful they'd let him stick around this long.]

That really what you think? I don't think you're giving them enough credit.

[ Neal's eyebrows are drawn up in near-surprise. Even Hook had to realize that Mary Margaret and David were two of the single most welcoming people to exist. Hell, they were freakin' Snow White and Prince Charming. ]

'Sides, family doesn't end with blood.

I think Charming has made it quite clear what he thinks.

[Hook wasn't able to stop a roll of his eyes. While he kind of got a long with the prince now, he still couldn't forget how he'd taken every chance he could to make a jab at the pirate in Storybrooke about staying away from Emma.

Then he laughed.]

I'm very aware of that. But I do not think anyone in this castle considers me family. I'm more the annoying stray dog, charming scarps from the family table and shooed out when the welcome is worn out.

[ That gives Neal brief pause before he gives a little smirk at that. He hasn't had the fortune to see David in father grilling bad boyfriend mode, but he could only imagine how pissed he must've been to find out the pirate had made a move on Emma.

Not that Neal was pleased when he found out, but they thought he was dead at the time. Not exactly something he could protest, in good faith.

He links his fingers together around the neck of his bottle as he contemplates Hook's last few statements. Then he admits something he probably would never have under the light of day and without having downed an entire bottle of alcohol. ]

I considered you family once.

[Hook sobered immediately. There was only a brief pause as he considered Neal.]

Was that before or after you found out about your mother?

[It was important and would greatly influence what Hook said on the matter.]

Before, obviously.

[ He rubs his eyes with one hand as he sighs, remembering how betrayed he'd felt.

In that moment, he'd felt betrayed by the two people that he had trusted: his father (for the second time) and Hook. His father for lying about his mother's fate, and Hook for what he'd believed to be the crime of tearing apart his family. ]

Wasn't exactly thinking straight after. And then I was too pissed- nah, I was furious at you for turning me over to Pan.

[ Despite the words and the bittersweet memories they conjure up, his tone is still mild. ]

Obviously.

[He'd had a feeling but it didn't hurt to be sure. Hook was finding he never knew what to think around this family sometimes.

The memories of that time came back to Hook as well and his eyes were caught by his hook catching the moonlight. Or so he'd claim, so he didn't have to look at Neal as he remembered. ]

I can't say I blame you. But know this...leaving you behind was Milah's biggest regret. She talked of you often. I know she thought of going back for you but she never voiced it directly. She didn't think our life was suited for a young boy but when you were older...I don't think I would have had any say. [His voice was fond and had a genuine smile. There could be no doubt in anyone's mind how much he'd loved his Milah. And he still refused to look at Neal. His confession deserved a like one and Hook was a man of honor.] When you dropped onto my ship, it was like getting a chance to make her wish come true. I did think of you as a son.

[But it grew quiet and serious again when he continued.]

I couldn't stand the thought of you hating me.

[ Neal stayed quiet as he listened to Hook talk about his mother. There was a note in his voice that he'd never heard from the pirate before, and it made his stomach clench.

Hook painted such a nice picture, of a woman who fell in love and ran off with him, away from her miserable, dull life in the country. A whirlwind romance. ]

Sounds like regret was the one thing she and my father had in common then.

[ For most of his life before meeting Hook, he'd been sad that he didn't have a mother, like the other children in the village. But knowing that she hadn't been ripped from him, that she had willingly left him, that hurt even more. For a child, to know that your mother didn't love you enough to stay, or even take you with her... ]

I remember- you said something about me reminding you that all you needed was revenge. But you know what you reminded me? That both my parents abandoned me. My father abandoned me for magic. And, as I found out, my mother abandoned me for a life with you. Yeah. I hated you for that, for a long time. Who wouldn't?
