The (possibly AU) Sibling Incest Meme [with prompts!]
The (possibly AU) Sibling Incest Meme

Incest is, despite its taboo nature in most societies, actually a pretty popular convention in both romantic fiction and works of a more erotic bent, in everything from period or fantasy pieces to series taking place in places like modern day Japan. Still, the most common configuration in these fictions are the pairing of siblings. Perhaps this is because of the usual lack of age difference and power dynamic that exists in child/adult relative pairings, though this is not always the case. Because of this, a sexual or romantic relationship between siblings can almost seem, well, romantic in the right light. Of course, more often than not, there's a dark side under the veneer of forbidden love.
This meme is for those who would like to play out that, either the darkness or the light - or both.

1. Feeling Strange: You've known this person your entire life, yet lately you've been feeling...different about them. These feelings aren't exactly familial, either.
2. Not as Normal Families: Whatever the specifics of the case may be, your childhood was not the norm, and thus the two of you have grown close that way.
3. Raised Apart: Scientists believe that when siblings are raised together under normal circumstances, they will not find each other sexually attractive; however, if they are reared apart, they may be highly attracted to each other when they meet as adults.
4. Only Kin by Name: Psuedo-incest between step siblings or adopted siblings is not quite as taboo, but you could still be looked down upon for harboring those desires for someone who is a member of your family by one way or another.
5. Defender: One of you is older and has always looked after the other, meaning that something has grown between you that is thicker than any blood.
6. Guilty: You feel terrible for these longings toward your own flesh and blood, and you do your best to stop them. But can you choose who you want to be with? And how disciplined are you when it's someone you care for in other ways?
7. Dysfunctional: You don't have a good relationship as siblings, yet your relationship as lovers is great.
8. There's Nothing Wrong Here: To you, incest is a casual affair and the "forbidden" aspect is lost. Sorry you were grounded, big brother. Here, since you can't go out, let me be your girlfriend for the night.
9. Like Looking in a Mirror: The two of you are closer than siblings: you're twins. You share everything, so why is your love any different?
10. Skirting the Line: Stolen glances. Lips only a breath away. You're walking a fine line here. You haven't become physical...yet.
11. Got a Secret, Better Keep It: Needless to say, an incestuous relationship is not one that can see the light of day. You'd better keep it behind closed doors.
12. Jealousy: You can't stand the idea of sharing your beloved sibling with someone else, yet it's hard to make this known without blowing your cover.
13. As One: The obligatory smut prompt, whether it be the first time or one of many the two of you steal away.
14. The Things I Do for Love: You'll do anything to protect your love affair with you sibling and make sure no one interferes. Anything.
15. And You'll Be My Queen: It may seem as though the light will never come, but you want to make promises to your most precious sibling that one day, you'll live as any normal couple.
16. Anyone Who Isn't Us is the Enemy: You're in a dangerous climate, and the only one you can depend on is your flesh and blood - bringing you closer together.
17. No Choice in the Matter: Your sibling is not a willing participant in your debauchery, but they endure your cruelty, grooming, and manipulation because you are their brother or sister.
18. No One Like You: There truly is no one who can love you like the person who is closest to being you, bone of your bone. You perfectly understand each other and your love is pure.
19. Where No One Knows Our Faces: You've decided to flee your current life and live as new people among those who don't know that you're related.
20. Out in the Light: A secret no more, the two of you have decided to bring your affair out into the open. You will face the world, no matter what it does.
21. Rejection: Someone - friends, family, etc - has found out what you two have done and are disgusted by it. Will you turn to each other for comfort?
22. The End: Being with someone so unattainable is tiring, and one day, you may grow weary of stowing everything away, locking your heart up, or feeling so shamed. This must cease. But can you go back to being just siblings?
23. Not Really Related After All: Perhaps the most cliche of tropes, though it's often used to "justify" incest. Turns out the two of you aren't really siblings! Now, you can pursue a relationship freely.
24. Part of the Same Whole: You're meant to be together, you firmly believe it.
25. Sick and Twisted: The fact that you two are siblings actually is a kink/fetish for you. You get off to all of this.

26. FREESTYLE
10
That was what started it. She'd walk by his room in the mornings just to try to catch a look at him without his shirt. At first, she wondered if that was the road that Roy was heading down. She wondered how Ollie had gotten those scars in the first place. She wondered if it was her imagination that once or twice she saw more.
The problems started when she realized that she'd stopped making the detours to try to see Roy's future and was simply going to look at Ollie. The heartache that she felt when Roy was injured was nothing compared to the heartbreak she felt contemplating Ollie's injuries.
She started making excuses to touch him. Every touch, however innocent, would be over one of those marks she knew was under his clothes. A squeeze of his shoulder. Stopping him with a hand against his chest. Wrapping an arm around his waist and resting her hand just so on his stomach. If you hadn't known her intentions, the touches might have been innocent. Even she didn't quite understand why they weren't and why she'd started wondering more about Ollie and his marks than she was worrying about her own boyfriend.
And then came the morning when she stopped just before the turn into his hall. She wouldn't go down there again, she told herself. It was too tempting. He was too tempting and everything she was feeling was just...wrong. She couldn't go on, but she couldn't quite make herself turn around and walk back, either.
no subject
While he did, he imagined what the rest of the household-- all those people with relatively normal lives-- would be doing. Their small staff would be doing gardening or cleaning, or preparing breakfast. When he'd left Starling City, he could've counted on finding Thea at the breakfast table scarfing down some sugary cereal. What the young woman his little sister had become would be doing, Oliver wasn't sure, but at least it would be better than when he'd first returned.
Of all the things his reappearance had prompted, one of his most proud accomplishments was having even a small hand in getting Thea to decide to turn her life around, away from drugs and to take up some real responsibilities. And she'd stepped up to that plate beautifully.
Just as Oliver was toweling off, there was a noise outside the door. Reacting on instinct, he wrapped the smallish towel around his hips, holding it with one hand while he bolted into the hallway. All he found was Thea, standing a few feet away. "I thought I heard-- huh. Hey, Speedy."
no subject
"Uh, hey. ...Ollie." She should just turn around now, but her feet were even more rooted in place than they had been before he'd walked out. Her body was giving her one message, but her mouth refused to admit that anything was wrong.
"It's just me. Not the Boogeyman." She smiled weakly.
But then she looked again and yes, she was pretty sure that scar was new.
no subject
"Glad to hear it wasn't trouble. At least not the usual kind. Did you need to talk? Come on in while I get changed."
Oliver led the way in, ducking into the bathroom just long enough to switch to a torn-off pair of shorts. If Thea wanted to talk, he wasn't going to waste time-- he wanted to help. "So, what can I do for you?"
no subject
Considering the limited amount of time she'd seen Ollie without his shirt, she probably shouldn't have noticed. But she did. She even could point to a specific scar. She walked over to him and pressed her hand to his shoulder, almost to his neck. She wasn't sure when she'd seen that show up. It was hard to tell when he had so many scars, but she thought there were new ones. She was willing to bet that he wasn't going to admit it.
"So maybe the question isn't what you can do for me, but what I can do for you."
She ran a thumb almost absently along the mark and wondered what had happened. How he'd gotten it.
no subject
That wasn't to say he didn't have a story prepared. "I've been sparring with Mr. Diggle. Things get rough."
And then his sister began to touch those scars, and Oliver found his skin tingling under her fingertips. He could even feel himself starting to warm. Oliver knew what the symptoms meant, but didn't understand how he could be feeling... well, aroused, to be honest... because of Thea. Then again, five years and a lot of miles had passed. "I'd like to ask you to stop worrying."
no subject
"But you're not going to ask because you know you'd be in for a world of trouble if you even tried it." She was beginning to think that he was in a world of trouble already because she wanted to know what was going on.
She lowered her eyes. "Don't you trust me?" Maybe he didn't. There was an entire five year gap between them and she had been following in his footsteps when he got back. She was the girl who went out and had fun and had the cops called on her. Who would trust a girl like that?
no subject
He put his hands on her shoulders. "Of course I trust you, Thea. You're my sister and I love you more than I can tell you." Oliver shrugged. "But sometimes that last part? It means that I also want to protect you. And I need you to trust me when I say the best way for you to be safe is for there to be things I might not be able to tell you."
Moving one hand up, he brushed her hair back from her face. "I promise, if you needed to know something, I would tell you."
no subject
"You mean," she said quietly, "that if it's something you think I need to know, not something I think I need to know."
With her eyes still closed, she took that step closer that ended with her pressed against him and she rested her face against his chest. Her arms came down and wrapped themselves around his waist and she just held on to him for dear life.
"Does it ever worry you, the secrets our family keeps?"
no subject
"Every day. I mean, being a normal and ordinary family was never really in the cards for us, but... yeah, it worries me a lot." He leaned down and kissed Thea on the forehead. "But all I can really do is think that things can get better, and if we try to make them better, a day will come when we won't have to keep secrets any more."
He did his very best to sound supportive and encouraging, because Oliver really did believe what he'd said. The trouble was that other instincts were lighting up, as well. Instincts that did not miss how he was essentially naked except for small, very thin shorts and that he was holding a very attractive female against him. Those instincts didn't seem to care that Thea was his sister when they caused certain physical reactions.
And the most surprising thing wasn't how it bothered Oliver-- it was how much it didn't.
no subject
"I hope so," she murmured as her fingers traced the tattoo on his chest. Had no one thought to wonder how he'd gotten a tattoo on a deserted island?
She wasn't really sure she meant the words, though. Letting go of the secrets meant revealing that she'd been coming here, trying to catch whatever sight she could of him, for more mornings than she ever wanted to admit to. It meant coming to grips with the fact that she wanted to hold on to him and never let go. It meant saying that she'd been thinking about him more, lately, than her own boyfriend.
"Any truths you want to get out today?"
no subject
Oliver narrowed his eyes and peered at Thea, as though he could figure out just what was really eating her today if he just stared hard enough. But she, like most of the women in his life, remained more mystery than anything else.
"None that I can think of," he answered, leaving out the fact that he would have preferred to not be sporting sister-induced arousal. "Why, anything you feel like confessing? Because you know you can tell me anything, Thea."
Welcome back from the holidays!
When she noticed the look he was giving her, her breath caught in her throat. It almost felt as if he were stripping her naked and seeing everything. She shuddered and pressed herself just a little bit closer to him and then went still as she felt...
Well, she wasn't so naive as to not understand what she was feeling, but she'd never thought about feeling it coming from Ollie. She wasn't sure what to do or what to say, so she just stayed frozen. She didn't move and make things worse, but she didn't start pulling away, either.
no subject
And then, he could feel her whole body tense. There was a moment of panic, Oliver wondering what kind of attack they could be under now, but that feeling switched to a totally different kind of panic, when he realized Thea had brushed against-- no, was now pressing against his hard-on.
"Sorry," he mumbled, trying to angle his hips away but somehow having a tough time making them respond. "You know, there are some things you just can't-- I mean, you're a really beautiful young woman and-- You know all those stories that men are just a certain way inside? Well they're sort of true-ish..."
Oliver shut his eyes and sighed. "Maybe... maybe we should continue this conversation later?"
no subject
Just a certain way. She wouldn't have even believed that excuse if he'd been a complete stranger, but if she'd been a stranger, he wouldn't have had to make up any excuse. He'd just apologize and move away. Funny that he didn't seem to be putting any more distance between them than she was.
His words kept circling in her head. There were the poor excuses, but there was also that other gem that had slipped in there. Beautiful young woman. She couldn't help the pleased flush that settled on her face at the idea that he thought she was beautiful. She swallowed hard at the idea that maybe that was the sincere truth that had slipped in with all the other bullshit. Though he was definitely placing too hard an emphasis on the 'young' part.
"I'm not twelve anymore, Ollie. I know all sorts of things about boys and their urges," she said in the tone that meant that she didn't believe a word he was saying. "I don't know. I was thinking we'd stay here and see how much deeper that hole you're digging goes."
She smirked at him, an impish light coming into her eyes. She might not know exactly what was going on between them, but there was always one thing she could rely on. Teasing Ollie. "Any more gems of wisdom you want to try to make me believe?"
no subject
"No holes," he said, then immediately wanted to slap himself. "What I mean is--"
Oliver shook his head. He'd been spending too much time around Felicity, apparently, putting his foot in his mouth like that.
"How about the fact that I love you, and I'm really happy to have my sister around and I really don't want this making things weird between us?"
no subject
"Didn't I just say I was a big girl?" she said. And then, daringly, she grinned and added, "Which I think you've just noticed."
She still remembered the look on his face when he'd walked in on her and Shane at the Christmas party. It was like he still expected her to be in pig tails and having sleepovers with her girlfriends. It might have been perverse, but she liked the way he was looking at her now. Not like that at all.
"Things will always be weird, but that's just because you're crazy." Another grin and then she leaned forward and kissed his cheek, right at the corner of his lips.
no subject
And that was a whole other head trip altogether.
He smiled at the teasing, because that was definitely the easy and familiar thing for them both, but then that didn't last very long, not when Thea kissed him right on the very border of sisterly. "I think I really am going crazy right now," Oliver whispered. And still, he wasn't pushing Thea back or moving away. In fact, when he looked back up, his hands were on her shoulders.
no subject
"Going?" she said, her voice dropping into a whisper. Anything louder she felt would break this fragile...something. She wasn't aware that her fingers had started moving against his chest, following the lines of his scars.
"You've been crazy as long as I've known you." She couldn't quite dare to lift her face that quarter inch that would put their lips together in a proper kiss, but she was teasing him, goading him into doing something that knew was wrong but that felt so tempting. They hadn't quite gotten to the point of no return, but she was tempting him.
no subject
"I think you might be right," Oliver whispered, knowing that this was a line he could never un-cross, but something inside of him was pushing and pulling and begging him to cross it.
The hands on Thea's shoulders slid up to cup her face. Oliver tilted it up that last quarter inch before lowering his lips to hers in a kiss with no possible other interpretation but need.
no subject
She moaned, a sound that proved that she wasn't as immune to this as she'd tried to appear, and dragged her nails along the tattoo on his chest. She kissed him back just as hungrily. If this was going to be the only chance she had for this, if his conscience or hers were to come back in the next moment, she was going to have this to remember in the dark nights when all her worst desires came out.
Except she wasn't satisfied with just kissing. She moved her other hand to his chest and pushed him back, not caring whether they hit a wall or she pushed him through his open door.
no subject
"This is nuts," he whispered, reaching up to sweep his sister's hair back out of her face. Oliver gazed at the young woman laying on top of him and could only find himself seeing her beauty and the strength she'd learned to develop. He could see all the things he'd come to admire in her, and for right then, that was all that mattered.
So he pulled her back down for another kiss, this time deepening it.
no subject
"I've been nuts since you left," she admitted the next time she had to catch her breath. She'd imagined it so much she could almost see it. The perfect, slightly dysfunctional, family. She'd have been the good girl because her older brother was the disaster. Someone had to be the better example. And maybe once he'd cleaned up his act, she'd have gone through a rebellious faze, but she'd have probably only dyed her hair or gotten a piecing without letting her parents know.
She hadn't just lost him and dad when they'd disappeared, she'd lost herself. And now she was someone different and she wasn't sure she could ever go back to being that girl. What she saw in Ollie was the secrets and the lies and the distance between them. She wasn't sure she'd ever get her brother back, either.
Almost immediately after she said the words, she pressed her lips to his again. She didn't want him to think about what she'd said too much. They were both fucked up in their own ways and there wasn't much that could be done now.
no subject
Oliver pushed those thoughts away for later, and just let himself focus on the girl who lay on top of him, her slim frame almost wrapping around his large one. Now he was aware, too, of how little there was of Thea's clothing keeping them separated, especially when she straddled his lap, her warming center suddenly making contact with the almost painful ridge in his shorts. Oliver groaned at the contact.
As he kissed her some more, he waved goodbye to the last of his good sense and began to slide his hands up the back of Thea's shirt.
no subject
Or maybe, since he hadn't told her to stop, it would actually turn him on.
When she'd had almost too much contact, she pushed herself up. Her lips were parted as she panted softly. "Take it off," she suggested softly, flushing in embarrassment. It was one thing to have her body desire him and to let herself follow through on that desire, but it was something else entirely to talk about it. To demand things from him. She just wanted to feel right now, not think.

Sorry! Going to the ER really puts a damper on your RP time.
Oh no! You okay?
Yeah, clean bill of health for now. Thanks :)
