o1, apparently
Coffee. All the coffee. He's the worst of addicts, he knows. But shut up he's making breakfast in an apron, what more does wolf want from him. Honestly. ]
Of course~
There was a brief moment when he considered wrapping something around himself, but when it was naked versus those sheets, he decided to save his pride.
The smells took him out to the kitchen where he saw Loki bustling about in some very fancy garments. His eyebrows leaped up.]
What's this?
no subject
I sincerely hope you can tell what I'm doing in the kitchen, Eliot.
[ He doesn't bother to turn around, just snaps his fingers to give the pancakes a flip while he goes to check on scrambling eggs and buttering toast. He does, however, shoo Eliot back with a quick gesture of his hand. ]
Back to bed, wolf.
no subject
You realize what those sheets look like, man? I ain't crawlin' back on'em till they get changed again.
[He sniffs the air and his mouth watered a bit.] This smells really good.
no subject
Picky.
[ While the toast is toasting, Loki will oblige and casts another spell, to give Eliot some proper (albeit incredibly pink) bedsheets. Another shoo-shoo gesture with his hand later, and he turns back to steal a sip from his spiked orange juice and heads back to the pancakes. They should be done soon. ]
Now either get back to bed now, or I will enjoy this all by myself.
no subject
[ One finger pointed towards the newly redecorated bed. ] That's pink.
[ Yet when it was apparent that Loki wasn't budging, and why would he, the trickster's apron was frilly black and pink, Eliot pointed one finger at Loki as if to say, You ain't heard the last of this, pal. But for now, he obediently turned and stalked back into their bedroom with the hot pink bed. ]
no subject
[ Hence the apron and the pink sheets, of course. Just be happy they aren't heart shaped pancakes, wolf.
But once his growling wolf huffs back to the bedroom, Loki allows himself a grin, and he makes a final check up on breakfast before getting a plate ready. Two banana pancakes, scrambled eggs on toast, enough bacon strips to satisfy a hungry wolf, and the coffee and orange juice hovering behind him. He takes his time, to ensure that Eliot's had plenty of time to get all snuggled up in his pretty pink blankets.
Then he turns, plate in hand and drinks behind him, and heads back to join Eliot on the bed. ]
If you're grumpy, no breakfast.
no subject
[ Yet it was obvious that he thought the protest would fall on deaf ears for he sighed before he even heard Loki's response. ]
This is gettin' back at me for last night, ain't it?
[ Though at the mention of breakfast, Eliot grudgingly tuned down his unhappy scowl. ] Of all colors, man, I mean, really?
no subject
Perhaps, a little.
[ And Eliot will just have to deal with the pink sheets. Loki liked them. Matched his apron. He'll make it up to him, of course, first by taking a piece of bacon to snap in half and offer to his wolf. ]
It could also be a thank you of sorts, if you like that better.
no subject
Well, the breakfast, yeah... Whatcha make?
[ And true to his nature, Eliot managed to forget the embarrassing colors he was nested within in favor for feeding his starving stomach. At that moment, his stomach growled loudly in agreement. He grinned wolfishly at Loki, the horrible taste in colors temporarily forgotten as he snapped up the offered morsel of meat. ]
Breakfast in bed and you're gonna feed me too? I can get used to this type of thanks.
no subject
Just a few of my favourites, that's all.
[ Eliot gets one more piece of bacon, before Loki tears a small bit from the fruit filled pancake and offering that to his wolf next. There's really only enough on the plate to feed one hungry wolf, since Loki wasn't hungry and rarely ate much anyway, so this is all to let Eliot indulge and feel a little spoiled for once. ]
I thought it would be a nice surprise.
no subject
With everything considered, Eliot could afford to be a little lapse in his habits, including the pink sheets. ]
It is a nice surprise. [ Said between bites of the pancake fruity pancake. The next piece he took between his teeth, but rather than swallowing it, he grabbed Loki and passed it over to him between a kiss. If he tasted the tequila in the trickster's breath, he made no comment. ]
You're not eatin' much for these bein' your favorites. [ Regardless, Eliot made a note of all the items for future reference. ]
no subject
I'm glad. [ Oop- and he's caught off guard with that impromptu breakfast-sharing smooch. Forgive him if he lingers a bit, and drags his tongue across Eliot's bottom lip before eventually drawing away, to finish that little pancake bit with a lick of his own lips.
Ooh. He's a damn good chef. ]
This is your breakfast. And I'm not quite hungry.
no subject
[ Eliot licked his lips, knowing exactly the way the soft play of his tongue over his grease shined lips looked to the god. He tasted that kiss, felt how it lingered. When he grinned, it was almost one of challenge. ]
This is a big breakfast. Fit for a wolf, [ He was getting better at that term now. It no longer stung like it used to. ] But if I was to finish it all myself, there won't be much room for other else, man.
[ He let his roving gaze on the trickster bring teasing image of what other else may be. The frilly apron had an effect on him he didn't expect, especially since this was being worn on a guy. ]
no subject
[ It was indeed a big breakfast, but that was mostly because Loki didn't quite know where to stop. He started simple, bacon and eggs, but then somehow toast got involved, and the pancakes were an impulse decision upon seeing the bananas left for them. Coffee was a necessity, but orange juice was good for ... mortal nourishment and such.
... okay, maybe he overdid it a wee bit. But since Eliot wasn't complaining, nothing wrong with it.
His brow arched, and he paused for a moment before shifting up, and moving over to settle himself in Eliot's lap. The plate was balanced in one arm easily enough, so he could continue to pass pancake bits to his wolf and this time sit more comfortably. ]
You sound as if you expect to leave the bedroom at all today.
no subject
I can dig that. [ He stated between a smirk and a sip of the heavenly brew. Where did Loki get the roast? Either way, it was absolutely perfect and it was obvious in his soft sigh of contentment. ]
Oh yeah, I can definitely dig this, baby.
[ He leaned back against the headboard where Loki's arms were tied last night, smiling as his arms circled around the god's hips and let himself be fed. ]
Where'd you learn to cook like this?
no subject
Loki smiled as Eliot leaned back more comfortably, seemingly very content with his morning breakfast surprise. All was going according to plan, thankfully enough, and the god couldn't help feeling a wee bit too pleased with himself. It wasn't as if he'd worked very hard on it, but his effort did pay off.
The apron was just a treat. ]
One has to learn to fend for themselves when one is all alone in a new realm. [ Another pancake bit for wolf, a tiny nibble for trickster. He did so like those hands on his hips, that maybe he cast a little spell for the tie of his apron to loosen a bit. ] And I wasn't about to order takeout for every meal.
no subject
[ His grin quirked to one side as he chewed more of that delicious pancake, fed to him piece by piece. ] I've never seen you cook before this. Just sayin'. I thought you'd just magic everythin' up.
Not that I'm complainin', man.
[ He most definitely wasn't, not of the food and not even of Loki's silly outfit if the slight twitch in his loins reflected anything.
Reaching across to pick up another piece of bacon, he bit down on one end and wiggled it enticingly for Loki to take up the other half. Of course, when Loki finally accepted it, Eliot would meet him in the middle for another delicious sucking kiss.
Behind the trickster, Eliot was doing some tricky handiwork on his own to untie those pink laces holding that flimsy apron in place. ]
no subject
You also don't see me eating very often in the first place. [ Dainty little thing that he was.
But he supposed he could also get used to a breakfast like this every so often. Eliot's lap was comfortable, and his wolf was smiling to sweetly at him, sharing his homemade meal. He couldn't resist that invitation, leaning in to help sharing that piece of bacon and another lingering kiss that followed. His lips curled up in a small grin as he felt those hands work at the loosened fastenings of his apron.
His free arm slid around Eliot's shoulders as they kissed, soft and sweet and intimate. He eventually pulled away to breathe, but not far, letting his forehead rest against Eliot's. Breakfast was temporarily put on hold, so he could bask in this for just a moment. ]
no subject
Don't gods need to... mmm... Eat?
[ The breakfast temporarily waylaid, Eliot's attention focused on the sweet mouth he released only seconds before. He moved forward to nip at Loki's bottom lip, sucking it gently between his as he simply enjoyed the closeness and comfort the moment offered.
Behind the god, the ties of the apron were pried free completely. ]
Where'd you pick up such a thing? [ He whispered against Loki's lips as he tugged at the black and pink apron slightly in emphasis. ] It clashes with your eyes.
no subject
A god can starve, but he will never starve to death.
[ But what a boring topic that was, in comparison to the one now. Soft kisses, teasing nips, quiet purrs and such comfort in Eliot's lap rendered everything else obsolete. Even breakfast, apparently, as Loki set the plate aside in favour of using that hand to now brush his thumb against Eliot's cheek. Was he overdoing it on the doting affection? Perhaps. Who cares?
The apron is loosened enough now so that all that holds it up is the loop around his neck. He grins as he considers removing it completely, but what fun was there in doing that part himself? ]
I saw it. I thought it was pretty. [ and a brow arch. ] Are you so offended by the colour pink, Eliot?
no subject
Except here he sat in a pink bed with his male alpha, the two of them more or less naked... It was almost enough to wipe the grin off his face. He tried not to think about it too hard in those defining terms. ]
It's—... That's—...I prefer blue. [ He answered in a strained voice as the grimace he tried to hide pinched his face. His expression turned around comically when he quickly added, in hopes of not offending Loki, ] The apron looks good on you. Just that it doesn't match your eyes.
Can I remove it now? [ In support of his words, his hand played around Loki's neckline where the loop of the apron hung while he let the fingers of his other hand rub soothingly on the god's thigh. ]
no subject
But, since this was supposed to be about spoiling his wolf, perhaps he could leave the teasing for another time. A small wave of his hand has the sheets turning into that more acceptable blue, though the apron remained as such. Loki liked it, clashing with his eyes or not. But the thought was adorable and appreciated.
He couldn't help a little laugh at Eliot's insistence on removing the article as soon as possible, and a soft purr as those hands wandered so sweetly against his skin. Loki scolded him with a poke to the tip of his nose, leaving the apron where it was as he retrieved the plate of still warm foods once more. ]
After you've finished your breakfast. We don't want it getting cold.
no subject
Answering the poke with a playful growl, Eliot briefly considered just wolfing down the rest of the food but just as quickly discarded the idea. It was obvious that Loki had spent time and effort making this for him, and like the trickster mentioned, they really weren't in a hurry if they had all day. ]
Fine. [ Making a show of grumbling while acquiescing, Eliot reached out for a piece of toast. He picked it up and used one triangular corner to point at the mischievous god. ] I'm unwrappin' my present after I finish breakfast, and you ain't stoppin' me then.
[ He chomped on the toast with a defiant bite, then finding it was rather good, he looked down at the piece in hand and arched an eyebrow at Loki. ] Really? You magicked the toast too?
no subject
Loki knew he was teasing his wolf more than he should be, but it would all eventually pay off in the end. He just had to make sure Eliot had enough breakfast to fuel up for the rest of the day. All the more reason for that extra toast.
The god couldn't help smiling as he helped Eliot finish his breakfast. He wasn't that hungry himself, but he did have a few nibbles of the pancakes, considering his particular fancy for them. But only a few nibbles, because this was his wolf's breakfast and he wanted to fill him right up. ]
Of course. [ He gently pets Eliot's cheek as his wolf eats, shifting just a little to get a little more comfortable. ] I wanted everything to be perfect. And I do not trust my cooking skills on their own.
