1. first day

Catch up with old friends, brave new teachers, fight your way through the sea of students, and hope you're in the right classroom. Oh, you're the new kid. Well, that's okay as long as you've got more than enough summer vacation anecdotes to fill ten pages of Times New Roman size 12, single-spaced.

 

2. first period

You're gonna be late! Or are you already there? Class hasn't started just yet, so chat it up or copy your classmate's homework before the teacher gets here.

 

3. lesson proper

You're probably diligently taking notes, looking out the window daydreaming or reciting in class, much to your teacher's delight - or dismay. Try not to be too obvious when counting down the minutes and pass that note as discreetly as possible.

 

4. faculty

Have a bone to pick with your terror math teacher. A crush on the cute chemistry teacher? There might be something you want to ask your homeroom teacher about. In any case, you plan on seeing a faculty member today. Or maybe they plan on seeing you!

 

5. lunch break

Man, you are starving. Hopefully, today's menu has something good. If the crowded cafeteria's not your thing, try the rooftop.

 

6. hooky

One of you is skipping class. You should try talking them out of it if that's your thing.

What on earth did you do to get this? Oh well. Detention can't be that bad when you've got all these very nice, approachable model students around to talk to.

[ While it's nice not to be a freshman, he doesn't feel much better off. It's still the start of the new year and already he's being picked on... Maybe because he doesn't look any older than the freshmen students. He thought he got a little taller over the summer break, but it just doesn't compare with the other boys. He was still sorta girly, with a too-high voice. It was starting to get discouraging...

Of course it wasn't all bad. Other than that, it wasn't a bad start to a year. He was kind of excited to be back in class and they'd even made a few more friends now that Eren was a little more mature...

But Armin was still content to be alone in the library at the end of the day. It was a rather extensive library and he was excited to delve into the rows of books. It was quiet and mostly empty, students busy with clubs or on their way home. Eren and Mikasa had already headed home and they'd asked a few times for Armin to come too. (They really didn't have anything yet they needed to work on and after all day in class, there wasn't any way to convince Eren to stay in the library of all places, honestly.)

So it was him and an armful of books. Only a few were really related to their coursework, the rest were just guilty pleasures. He was so used to the library being empty and just so enthralled, it was surprising to turn the corner of one row and bump into someone. So surprising, he didn't have a proper chance to try to catch his stack of books that went falling, or to quiet the yelp when one of the bigger tomes landed right on his foot before he could move. He quickly, sheepishly quieted himself, still wincing. Owww. ] Sorry, Jean. I didn't see you... [ Obviously. Armin shot him a tight smile, before bending down to pick up the mess. ] What are you doing in here?

[First year students weren't allowed to do direct work with festivals, meaning they could only do decorations, printing and painting. It was annoying a bit because there were so many little things and seemingly not enough time.

Kuroko and his group had to use basketball hall for their canvas- it was big, almost half of the court in length. Students in library committee got the assignment to write in beautiful font "Welcome to the Fall Festival", and being part of the committee, Kuroko was mingling.

He wondered how Tachibana-sempai was doing. He left a lot of signs, paint and decorations in the basketball hall before running off. He wondered if Nagisa-kun got into trouble again with fire (that was the last incident Makoto had to run and intervene with). Covered in black ink and paint, Kuroko crouched back down and continued to fill in the font with color.]
