[All the pillows and blankets make it hard not to curl up and just sleep. She huffs and rolls over, stretching for a moment, but resuming sleep.]

[no_eels]

[Toothless isn't sure what to make of this. It looks comfortable, but he's never seen a... bed this big before. After a few moments of sniffing the blankets, the Night Fury unceremoniously flops down near the canine he doesn't recognize.]

[motherofthesun]

[Never seen a nest before? Her eyes open at the flop and she turns her head towards the... oh, look a dragon. Not one she's seen before?]

[no_eels]

[Certainly not one this big. Dragon nests are a little more hardy. Not to mention singed. Toothless opens both of his eyes to peer curiously back at her, trilling, like a purr, in the back of his throat - a greeting.]

[motherofthesun]

[Singed, not singed... as long as it's comfortable honestly for her. Turning her head, she huffs, but then actually barks, giving her own greeting back. Paw stretching again, she rolls onto her belly and raises her head a bit. So, any idea what's going on?]

[Toothless shakes his head, which is still resting on the ground, tail swishing behind him. He hasn't the foggiest. But this is very comfortable, no doubt about it. He rolls onto his side, luckily keep his wings furled, and snorts in a contented manner.]

[Yes, that it is quite comfortable. Rolling onto her back and wriggling a bit, she felt herself sink a little more into the pillows and blankets. Well, she may or may not get herself stuck soon.]

[Sometimes the canine-beasts bark at him, or growl. So far, there's none of that from this one. The Night Fury's pleased about that. He trills again and swats idly at a pillow with his paw.

Luckily, it doesn't burst from his claws. All of these pillows seem to be quite sturdy, in fact. Toothless rolls onto his back and continues to watch his nest-mate.]

[Why would she bark at him? He's not doing anything...]

[Ducking beneath the pillows, she peeks out at him, but then pops back into cover, her tail wagging. They should play a game since there's little else to do.]

[no_eels]

[Observing this, Toothless rolls onto his stomach again and snorts again. Playing he can do. The pillows and blankets seem big enough. He doesn't give her much warning before he head-butts a pillow toward her, getting to his feet, ears forward.]

[motherofthesun]

[That's great! She butts the pillow slightly before tossing it onto her back and flicking it off with her tail. Hopping back one way and the other knocks around more pillows everywhere as she grins, her own ears forward.]

[The difficulty with being so long is that dodging, on the ground, is more difficult. But the Night Fury seems to be having plenty of fun, butting a few more pillows in her direction even as some land and bounce off of him.]

[At least pillows are soft. She's fine with being hit by them and knocking a few back. Unfortunately, it's easy to get one's paws tangled in blankets and tumble. At least the landing is soft.]

[Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, Toothless thinks that that's part of the game. He flops down right next to her, eyes wide and playful, and rolls until he can give one of her paws a big lick. At least he's not very slimy.]

[For a foreign dragon, he's quite nice. Even if that flop made her jump. She'll see his lick for her own against a claw, tail thumping on the nest of pillows.]

[The Night Fury wriggles in the blankets and snorts, at the returned lick. He cuddles up right next to her, because she's warm and furry. Toothless has to admit that sometimes he thinks having fur would be quite nice. For now, he's just going to steal some of her warmth.]

[That's fine with her. She has plenty of warmth to share with her cold-blooded friend here. Sometimes, Ammy thinks scales might be nice; easier to clean most certainly.]

[Toothless is content to take as much warmth as she wants to share. He leans his head over and snuffles curiously at her fur. It might tickle.]

[Oh dear does it. All she can do is wiggle slightly while silently guffawing. She gives him a few nudges back.]

[He makes a soft noise in the back of his throat, akin to a laugh, eyes wide and impish. The canine is ticklish! He's even more curious, now, and snuffles at her ears.]

[Nooo whyy? Well, the ears aren't so bad. That just makes her nuzzle all the more.]

[Toothless trills in the back of his throat at the feeling of the canine's cold wet snout against his scales. Why do canines have them, he wonders? It's very strange. He settles for wriggling around until he's on his back and curled up in a cat-like manner, back of his head against her fur, 'laughing' again.]

[motherofthesun]

[She watches him roll over and feels the weight of his head on her fur again. Her tail thumps harder and she pants, mouth open into a wide smile as he 'laughs'. He's definitely interesting. Young too since he's so playful.]

[It helps that he normally has a young human to play with. This creature's just as good as Hiccup, though, for the time being. He rubs his head against her fur, almost as if he's trying to pet her. Like he sees Hiccup doing sometimes in other villages. But his paws have claws, so that's a no-no.]
