the dark au meme

One thing or another went awry, and your character is no longer on the side of the angels. Whether it's through brainwashing, a loss of faith, or just plain wickedness, the draw of the dark has proved much stronger than the call of good.
1. Post with your character's name and fandom in the subject line! If you already have a dark AU for this character, this would also be a good place to link to any information about it.
2. Look around to find other awesome people who have also posted!
3. Pick a scenario or head over to the RNG to have one picked for you!
4. Tag them!
5.
1. Interrogation - someone from the other side has been captured and brought back, and it's up to you to get them to spill. Maybe you're just the best person for the job, or maybe they're somebody that you used to know. Either way, it all depends on you making them talk.
2. Reconnaissance - you're deep behind enemy lines now, keeping your eyes and ears open for anything useful you might come across. Take care you don't get caught.
3. Double Agent - maybe you're still secretly good but you're in deep with the baddies, or maybe you've never relinquished your inner wickedness but you've convinced the good guys you've changed. Make sure no one finds out your real intentions.
4. Brainwashed - whether through hypnosis or deceit, you've been convinced this is the side for you. But here's someone from your old life - maybe they can talk you out of it?
5. Defection - "I've been a fool!" You've seen the light and you're coming over to the good guys ... but is your contrition genuine?
6. Kidnapped - Either due to a mistake or the cleverness of the other side, you've ended up in their clutches. Just pray they don't have truth serum ...
7. Showdown - It's the final face-off. You against your arch-enemy. Only one of you can walk away from this, and you're determined that it's going to be you.
8. Punishment - you've fucked up. Maybe valuable information was lost or you let someone important get away. No matter what it was, it could mean defeat, and it's time to pay the piper.
9. Victory - You've won! The other side has been completely subjugated and you're planting your flag in their headquarters. Sounds like a chance for a celebration.
10. Defeat - ...or not. Everything went wrong and you've found yourself begging for mercy from the people you tried to kill. Hopefully they'll be more merciful than you would have been ...
11. Pick Your Own - combine, make up your own, have fun!
Due to this being a dark AU meme, there may be triggers, so tread carefully and be respectful so we can all have a good time.

The downside would be having to deal with Peter on a daily basis. Like, the guy was everywhere. Try to take a nap? Nope. There's Peter telling him that he had to go learn things, even though his lessons were as cryptic as hell and usually wound up with him having to throw out another set of ruined clothes. He was spending more on clothes lately than on gas. And that was a problem.
The other downside was what everyone around them referred to as 'the sass offs'; where he and Peter would sit there and backtalk to each other until Peter did that freaky Alpha thing that had Stiles feeling like someone was gripping the back of his neck and shaking him to behave. He hated that.
What he hated the most was the look Peter gave him sometimes when he thought he wasn't looking. The look that said he might have made a mistake. And he hated it more that the look bothered him. He hated that he gave two shits what Peter thought, even to the point where he'd blown of Scott on more than one occasion. He hated what he was turning into, but he had no idea how to stop it.]

He was finding more and more that what the boy lacked in training he made up for in sass. He was almost a little bit proud of him. Then he did something like trip over his own feet or hide and it all kind of went out the window. He had to constantly keep reminding the boy that he was a werewolf. This was a sacred right and it needed to be treated as such. He was given a goddamn gift that he was squandering on lacrosse just like Scott. He could at least have the decency to play basketball. Now that was a real man's spot. Lacrosse had zero meaning to him. It was brutish for the sake of being brutish. No point.
Today? Today he was making the rugrat read a few books. They were books he read as a boy. They better equipped you in the ways of being a werewolf. Peter was born this way. It was his birth right. He had spent years learning about this. Being prepared. Stiles didn't have that luxury. Unfortunately it meant sometimes throwing him into the deep end without floaties on. ] Must you make that noise when you're reading? You're like a buzz saw. Sit still and read.

[He managed not to give Peter a squinty-eyed look, but only just. He did picture throwing one of the books at his head, which made him smile. Yeah. Watch the great and might Alpha get taken down by a thesaurus. He'd start carrying around pocket-dictionaries to take him down. Death by paper cut. Hah! But he did stop humming. He also switched it for leaning back in his chair, swinging one leg as he read. That made the chair wiggle with each swing, producing an equally annoying squeaking sound.
Oops.
Note the lack of repentance in the fact that he wasn't stopping.]

He returned to his own book when he heard the chair. Peter wasn't brushing up on his werewolf knowledge, but he was in the middle of a rather interesting novel. Stiles was completely ruining it with all the movements and noise. He looked up once more and cleared his throat. He was more annoyed than anything right now. ] Move your leg again and I'll detach it permanently--with my teeth. Then I'll beat you with it--understand? [ The smile he was giving Stiles right now was oddly misplaced with the tone he was currently exhibiting. ]

Why was he even here, again? Couldn't he just read this at home? Where he could have a movie playing in the background and pizza in front of him. God, that reminded him, he was starving. When was dinner? How long had he been here? When could he go? Why did Peter always wear those stupid shirts that tried to show off his non existent man-cleavage? Did he secretly want to be a woman so that he could have cleavage? This book was boring. Peter was creepy. He missed Scott. This place smelled.
These were the thoughts running through Stiles' mind, all skittering with less direction since his adderall didn't work so well anymore. Way to go, Peter. Take away his concentration meds.]

He was well aware of the sounds that Stiles' stomach was making. He was choosing to ignore them, but they carried on and that wasn't really the boys fault. He couldn't be too horribly upset about that. He checked his watch though finally and snapped the book shut loudly. He licked his lips and rose from the couch. ] I should probably feed you. Don't need you nibbling on the furniture. What exactly would you like? [ He wasn't normally a intimidation expert. He preferred to operate a different way, but Stiles drove him up the wall most of the time. ]

The guy was a dick. He totally had it coming.
He did look up at the mention of food, taking a moment to think about that.]
Pizza? Or Chinese. I'm good with either.
no subject
At least he didn't insist on junk food. Peter would spring for pizza simply because it was faster than Chinese. He didn't need Stiles wasting his time waiting on Chinese either. ] You can have a break for however long it takes the pizza man. [ He grabbed up his cell phone and started to dial. ] See. I'm not completely heartless. [ He winked and disappeared into the other room to order. It took all of five minutes for him to get the order put in and then return to the living room to check on Stiles. ] Try not to break anything.

[He really couldn't help sassing towards the man, getting up and stretching before moving just for the sake of being able to move.
Sometimes Peter would tell Stiles his 'plans', things he wanted because of 'reasons'. Granted, if Stiles was the one with a houseful of burning relatives and who'd wound up in a coma for a handful of years, he doubted he would have been the most personable person ever and he might have had his own vendetta going, but Peter was just such a smarmy dick about it, it made it next to impossible to relate.]
