I'm one of only nine kids, so not actually that big. It's when you remember I have nineteen aunts and twenty one uncles that the cousin story goes from 'plausible' to 'hell, for all I know I'm your cousin too'. And honestly at this point there's no sides, just a bundle of people. Go with your own last name and pretend that's a side, they won't know any better.
