FRIENDS TO LOVERS Sentence Starters


Friends to Lovers is a common romantic trope, which involves two people in an established friendship becoming romantic partners. It is not uncommon for the relationship to be unexpected, that the characters never intended for there to be anything but friendship, but something happens to make them see the possibility of a romantic relationship.


  • Comment with your character, info, prefs. The usual.
  • Reply to others. Others will reply to you. How, you may ask?
  • Why, they'll either pick a sentence to be their starter or RNG an option. Then, they'll reply to your top-level with that sentence! (...you do the same, you get the drill.)
  • Their character just said that to yours! How does yours respond?
  • That's it. Dive deeper into the trash pile from there, as is tradition for memes. Thread ur dreams or ur nightmares.


Because, sure. You could be happy. But you could also be suffering.
