SICK DAY MEME

THE SICK DAY MEME

RULES
Post with your character, name and fandom in the header.
They are now, for some odd reason, sick (headache, fever, runny nose, cough, whatever you want).
Another character replies and is struck with the sudden urge to take care of them (bringing them soup, extra blankets, Sudafed, sexual healing, what have you).
Go from there!
hagar: (are you sure about that?)

ack, sorry that took so long!

[ What does a guy do with a sick angel? Dean’s been asking himself that question since brought the illness to his attention, and he still hasn’t come up with a good answer. They can’t take him to a doctor. There’s no way of telling how much medication it would take to help him. And how does an angel even get sick in the first place?

He really doesn’t have an answer to that. But he watches Castiel now, more closely than normal. He pays attention, even if he doesn’t have a solution, because if he gets worse, then they’re going to have to do something and Dean wants to be prepared.

Walking into the room, his eyes move immediately to his friend, who, he notes, looks absolutely miserable. ]

Hey. Can I get you anything?
freewill: (pieces of wisdom i've misplaced)

no worries!

[Both Sam and Dean have been keeping an eye on him, and Castiel has to admit he can't blame them. This is a new development for all three of them, and Castiel certainly doesn't know what to expect. Each progression of the sickness is some new experience for him, and none of it is particularly enjoyable.

He has to admit, he could have gone the rest of his long, long life without knowing what it feels like to vomit.

Though a small part of him wonders about his lifespan. If he's showing more and more signs of being human in this way, is it possible that he's going to start aging? The thought is so strange and foreign that he can barely wrap his mind around it.

Castiel glances up as Dean walks in, and while he wants to brush off that concern, he knows that will only lead to an argument.]

I think... I'm starting to get hungry again. [He hasn't had much of an appetite since the illness started (which, frankly, is normal for him) but now he's starting to feel that nagging, pulling feeling in the pit of his vessel's stomach again.]
