Sometimes, you just need a break-- even from your vacation-- because, face it, running around on the beach, at that theme park, or in that city in a strange land can get tiring. Sometimes, you just want to laze around at the hotel... and, sometimes, you wonder why you want to leave a place that has everything you'd need? Room service, heated pools, jacuzzies, rec room, spa services, a fully stocked bar...

 

Hey, they've even got a giant, walk-in shower in your room-- and those awesome cookies! What's not to love!?

 

The Deets:

 

-Post your top levels with your character and your interests. You want it? The Hotel will have it for you, no questions asked. That is, unless you wanted a lion in your room-- they might charge a little extra for that!

 

-Tag around. Running around on the elevators with a drink in your hand, hitting every floor, and hassling the staff is awesome, but it's even more awesome if you've got a friend with you!

 

- Most importantly-- have fun!!

[ She heads into the elevator, grinning and hitting the button for the lobby. ]

Plus the fact that we’re only a few floors away.

[In truth, they'll be about 15 floors away, not that he's counting.]

She'll be fine.

[ She nods, trying to relax a little as she watches the floors tick down. After a moment, she chuckles to herself. ]

Remember the night we met?

A that seemy, old bar?

I paid. You were a grouch.

That's cause I didn't want to be there. On both counts.

[The elevator opens and he leads her toward the glitzy restaurant, the staff nodding their heads to them as they pass by to a secluded table.]

Then why’d you show up?

[ She glances around the restaurant, taking it in a moment as they make their way to the table. ]

Curiosity.

[He holds her chair out for her and settles her in, before taking his own seat across from her.]

Besides, you're a nag.

Curiosity about what?

[ She rolls her eyes, taking her seat. ]

A nag you couldn’t help chasing.

You, of course. You're nuts.

[ She laughs. ]

To be with you? Yeah, I must be.

Nah, you were nuts to begin with.

[He's sure she remembers the river incident.]

Hey, now. Crazy attracts crazy.

[He considers that for a moment, then orders himself a steak, rare.]

What's that say about our little girl upstairs?

[ She orders the salmon, sipping on her water while she thinks. ]

Oh, she’ll be crazy, too. Definitely.

Face it. No baby of ours was ever gonna be normal.

One could hope.

[Quite obviously Graydon wasn't normal, even if he was a human, but he was kind of counting on Lois' genes to make some input here.]

[ She chuckles, sitting back in her seat and watching him curiously. ]

Never would’ve thought in a million years we’d end up here.

[He's toying with the silverware,waiting for his drink.]

[ She reaches over to draw her fingertips over his, offering him a smile. ]

You’re happy though, aren’t you?

I wouldn't be here if I wasn't.

[She should know that by now.]

[ She rolls her eyes. ]

You could just say yes every once in a while.

[He offers a smile back.]

But then I wouldn't be me.
