I Need You.

"I Need You."
Maybe it's desperation. Maybe it's just the right time. Maybe you're in the heat of the moment, body-to-body, and you don't even think about it. Maybe you're scared, or angry, or maybe you're so overcome with love that you can't help but say it. Whatever the reason, you've found yourself with someone important: your partner, your family, your rival, your lover, the person of your dreams--and the words have fallen from your lips.
"I need you."
How do they react? How do you react if they've said it to you?
HOW TO PLAY
→ Post with your character! Put their name and canon in the header, and any preferences you might have!
→Tag other people! Either your character is saying they need the other person, or they just heard that character say the words!
→Have fun!! (don't be a dick)

Bruce trusts Tony as well, with the kind of trust he hasn't extended to anyone in a long time. He knows Tony makes mistakes and messes up but he trusts him to do those things in his own Tony way, trusts him to make things better. Just like today.
The gentleness isn't exactly what Bruce expects, but he doesn't dislike it - quite the opposite. He's too worn out to do much for a little while, and, well... Truth be told, a good part of his fantasies involving Tony revolve around cuddling and being intimate. He likes being touchy and close to the people he likes, mostly because he doesn't often get to experience it in his everyday life.
When Tony speaks again Bruce's expression settles into one of understanding and peace. Reaching up with his free hand, he brushes his fingers over Tony's cheekbone and back into his sex-mussed hair, gently pulling him into a lingering kiss. When their lips part he keeps their faces close and murmurs, "You can have this anytime you want. Just tell me and I'll be here."

He's not sure when he last felt like this, relaxed, tired, calm - and without the threat of imminent threat he's sure that maybe he can settle if only for an hour or two.
Honestly, he'd rather not move from here, but the attraction of a huge bed to sprawl out on, to fall asleep on, to wake up next to Bruce come morning on is stronger than his desire to stay. A low hum escapes him, and he leans back, shifting one leg to press his foot carefully against the floor behind him.
"Bedroom."
