the tl;dr meme!

So we all love our characters (I would hope), which means that when given the chance, we'll endlessly pontificate about them. And thus, my personal favorite meme is born:

the what are your thoughts on...? meme

Essentially, post a list of your characters, and other people will respond with a prompt or character trait they'd like you to expand upon. It's open ended, so you can ask anything from their thoughts on yaoi to their thoughts on Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis. It's just a fun little writing meme, so have fun with it!

Cloud's thoughts on Orson's berserkerism. And go.

In one way, it's not exactly all that unusual a concept for Cloud. He's got Vincent in his party and that's a transformation kind of mid-battle thing too. So the idea itself isn't hard for him to accept.

On the other hand, he's had his strings pulled himself and lost control to the point he was a danger to his own team. So it strikes really close to home for him. He realizes that it's not his call to make but he worries about what it does to Orson inside - and also worries about the damage his friend takes physically too. In the end it Orson ever indicates it's something he wants gone, Cloud will go to the ends of the earth to find a way to make it happen (sob! knowing Orson's whole story just kills me here). Until his friend indicates it though, Cloud's just going to stand by him and when it happens try to make sure that the only ones Orson hurts are the enemy on the other team. To keep their friends safe but mostly so Orson doesn't have any guilt to feel afterward. Cloud's not afraid to put himself in the way if that's what it comes to. Orson's his friend and that means Cloud's got his back. Always.

In all seriousness, the inverse could work for Orson --> Cloud. They both have passive fronts; except they're not fronts at all, I think.

aw, Orson, if Cloud wasn't so stoic he'd smile. I'll do it for him. And yes, still water's run derp deep. Obviously they will need more manly adventures in the future to prove it ;)
