Once Upon a Dream
(I Met You) Once Upon a Dream

Dreams are complicated and amazing, aren't they? They can be fascinating, fantastical, boring, scary, comforting. You can meet people that are gone from your life, there, or even - sometimes - dream of people who you don't know, yet.
So this is just it. Meeting in a dream.
Warning: some of the prompts can be better avoided by the younger crowd, for sexual, violent, or body horror reasons.
How to Play
- Comment with your character and preferences.
- Reply to others.
- Have fun.
- Make sure you leave people a way out. It may be a dream, but don't tag into a stranger's open prompt with something that might be explicitly disturbing or way too intimate without checking in with them, first.
Prompts
There are two major categories.
I. In a dream.
II. After you wake up.
They have different prompts, but you're free to mix and match as desired - and the prompts are merely suggestions, after all. Go wild!
I. In a dream.
A. Kind of dream.
1. Mundane
2. Fluffy
3. Hot
4. Sad
5. Nightmare
6. Fantastical
7. Free for your imagination.
B. Kind of meeting.
1. You know them in life. You meet them normally - friends, allies, acquaintances, coworkers...
2. They were once part of your life, but they're not, any longer. Left for good, you fought, they're no longer living...
3. Strangers.
4. Enemy! Defend yourself! Or maybe reach a truce.
5. Free for your imagination.
C. Kind of dream experience.
1. You are as you are in the waking dream - same gender, abilities, etc.
2. You're enhanced - you can do things you don't, when awake, like flight or supernatural strength or knowing a different language, or something else that you normally lack.
3. You're depowered - whether you have special abilities and they don't work in the dream, or you're lacking something else that you usually have - sight, mobility, speech...
4. You're physically changed - different gender, different race...
5. You're a different age - younger or older.
6. Free for your imagination.
II. After you wake up.
A. Kind of dream.
1. It was a lovely dream. You have a great feeling that stays with you after it.
2. It was a horrible dream. Nightmare, or it just went on and on...
3. It was a confusing dream. You're not sure how to feel about it.
4. You don't really remember much about it. But you think there was something...
5. Free for your imagination.
B. Kind of an encounter.
1. Expected - bedfellow, roommate, friend, colleague, and you get to tell them about the dream.
2. New - you met that person in the dream! Or they're just a stranger you feel like you should share the dream with.
3. Impossible - how is that person even there?
4. Enemy - why them? Why now?
5. Free for your imagination.
C. Anything else you want!
Did you wake up with a skill or ability you didn't have? A new fear? A secret you never knew before?

WAIT TOO MUCH EXPOSURE WAY TOO MUCH EXPOSURE FOR HIS LIKING RIGHT THERE]
Uwaaahh!! Don't do that when you're not wearing anything!! [Here, have a blanket tossed at you to cover yourself! No, wait, now Alibaba is a blanket short! What to do?!]
and then either Morgiana or Jafar walks in
Could he?
or? - Hey the world went dark!
Oh, it's just a blanket, he doesn't immediately pull it off of his head, taking a moment of relief for his hangover in the sudden shade]
We're both men, Alibaba...
lmao ~of course~
Kassim... His best friend would be laughing like crazy if he could see them now. For a moment Alibaba's expression turns sad.
Then he shoves the thought away, gives Sinbad a thoughtful look and promptly pulls the blanket down so that Sinbad's privates are properly covered. He already feels not up to par enough when he compares himself to Sinbad as a leader, he absolutely doesn't want to give in to temptation and compare their levels of manhood as well.
Or else he'll cry.]Yeah, but you're Sinbad. The king! [Don't make him lecture you on proper conduct as royalty, Sinbad!]
no subject
Mainly to try to mask his increasing worry that he might've slept with the King of Balbadd during his drunken revelry. Not only would it be politically disastrous for Sindria once word gets out, but he actually liked the kid outside of how useful he'd be for the kingdom and hate to think he might've taken advantage of him, even if they were both falling-down drunk]
Is it really that strange that someone doesn't like to sleep in night clothes?
[Okay - that's the least trivial thing for him to focus on, but he rather not ask about the elephant in the room]
no subject
[He smiles, clearly happy now that this is out of the way. They were probably both just too drunk to think straight anymore! And it's kind of fun to have Sinbad all to himself for once since he's usually so busy.]
I liked to do it for a while too, but since I have a lot of people to share beds with now I can't really do it anymore.
[Purely platonic and during their adventures, of course.]
no subject
Exactly, I don't see why it's considered so strange.
[A guy? Sinbad suspected it was probably Kassim, but there was no pressing need to confirm it - especially as it was clear to anyone close to Alibaba that he has yet to fully moved on.
For a moment, he pictured the young man trying to sleep au natural in Morgiana's presence, and just shook his head, chuckling quietly to himself, before he tries to switch the subject]
You seem rather cheerful for a man that woke up after a night of hard drinking.
[Now, what time is it and where are his clothes?]
no subject
Huh? [His question earns Sinbad an owlish look of not understanding before Alibaba's expression quickly turns into a cheerful grin again. (Maybe too cheerful?)] You think so? I've probably just had less than you, Lord Sinbad! Now that you mention it, I'm really thirsty. Enough to drink a whole lake!
[It's not like he's had a bad experience with not being able to hold his liquor and him really not wanting to repeat that, after all. Although he might have been training himself to withstand drinking nights for a while now.]
Uhm, if you are looking for your crown, it's up there. [Heavens know how it managed to get onto that wall ornament right next to the ceiling.]
no subject
Well - that is good to hear.
[He glanced up, seeing not only the grown, but some of his necklaces hanging from various places - as he reached up for one, there's a yell from the outside]
Sin! Why are you pants laying in the rosebushes?!
no subject
Uh-oh. Ja'far sounds angry. Should I lie for you?
[It's not an offer he'd usually make, but helping a drinking buddy out is no real lying as far as Alibaba is concerned. Especially if it means escaping an angry caretaker.]
no subject
Normally I wouldn't do such a thing...
[But given the whole incident with Kougyoku Ren was still fresh in everyone's mind - even if he was declared innocent - he could see that horrible look of disappointment on Ja'far's face once more and shuddered]
Please.
no subject
Judging from his tone it seems to be going well until Alibaba suddenly returns with a frozen look on his face.]
Alright, the good news is that it won't be a problem distracting him so that you can run to your place. The bad news is that he's coming up here right now.
no subject
Knowing him, he'll be here before I can get out.
[Sinbad looked around the room, and as quickly as he could, he grabbed everything of his that's visible, threw Alibaba's blanket back on the bed before he crawled under it]
no subject
[He rushes around and within seconds all of Sinbad's belongings are gathered and shoved into his arms.]
You can fly, right?! Use your djinn equip!
[This is going to be the most inconspicuous getaway for something completely harmless ever.]
no subject
Spirit of Rule and Submission...
[As Sinbad evoked the Djinn, he changed into Focalor and flew out of the window, just in the nick of time it seems like!]
