how?
why?
what?
01 induction. a comfortable place, a confident touch, and all the right words to take you under. deep breath in, deep breath out, just lie back for the plain flavor, no gimmicks or special powers involved.
02 the prop box. that's not enough? then how about a spinning spiral, or a swinging pocket watch, a coin or a candle, a flickering candle, that's right, just look at the flame, watch the flame closely, watch it dance in front of your eyes and relax, just relax...
03 simply powerful. deep and hypnotic eyes, a strong and commanding voice, their comforting and soothing touch; that person has more than talent - they have the power to bring you completely under their control, and there is no way to resist... at least not forever.
04 magic! a spell to control your body, a potion to command your mind, an artifact to destroy your will. you might have been enchanted, or even cursed. maybe it was an accident, a lesson gone wrong. whatever it was, it's time for a magical trance!
05 science! death rays are so last season, hypno rays are all the rage these days! and did you hear about that new drug that makes you 89% more suggestible to everything you're told? apparently they can even insert a chip into your brain and-- you know, why don't you see the miracle of science for yourself?
06 other. combine, change, roll again, or try something else entirely.
why?
01 therapy something you want to remember? something you'd like to forget? quit smoking, eat healthier, be the best you you can be. whatever your reason, whatever your method, your subconsciousness needs a spring cleaning to improve your life.
02 in good fun you're really looking forward to this! it's a show, it's a party, or maybe it's just the two of you trying something new. entertaining, relaxing, maybe even hot and steamy. kick back, and enjoy the experience.
03 part of the job the latest corporate drug, another monster preying on people's minds, the third alien artifact you dug up this week. you've run into this before, and you will run into it again. but maybe this time is different. maybe this time something went wrong...
04 part of a scheme you don't want this, but somebody else begs to differ. maybe it's as harmless as a prank to make you cluck like a chicken whenever they say your name. or maybe it's as bad as a plot to make you their obedient servant forever. only they know, but for better or worse, you're about to find out.
05 an accident a vacant stare into that magical mirror, blank faces after a gas leak, sparks flying in the wrong direction and suddenly you find yourself chanting 'yes, master' over and over again? looks like somebody was too careless. sure, nobody meant for this to happen, but it did, and now you have to deal with the side-effects.
06 other. combine, change, roll again, or try something else entirely.
what?
01 relaxation. all you want is to unwind, switch off, forget about your stress and worries for a while. close your eyes, you'll wake up feeling so refreshed. that is, unless somebody goes a little overboard with that happy and vacant smile...
02 transformation. bark like a dog. moo like a cow. put on this apron, you are the maid now. you're a robot, you're just a doll, you are the president of the world, an adorable baby, the perfect boyfriend- you are something or somebody you weren't before.
03 personality change. people don't change? we'll see about that! there must be some way to make you more assertive, less anxious, more honest, less unruly. maybe something could even change your evil ways! or your good ones, for that matter...
04 submission. this one is all about following commands. any commands. any commands. but do they just want to see you dance to their tune once, or will they wash, scrub and bleach your brain until it comes out blank and obedient forever?
05 seduction. maybe it's something sneaky to charm somebody you just met, maybe it's something sexy to spice up your relationship. whatever it is, whatever you do, it's trance time in the bedroom. and it would feel so amazing to take off your clothes for me, wouldn't it?
06 other. combine, change, roll again, or try something else entirely.

So, it's a lazy Sunday in the SEES dorms; the rest of the seniors are out, they're apparently not going to Tartarus today and, to top it all off, there's nothing interesting on TV right now (Tanaka's not really his thing, oddly enough). Which leaves it to Ken, who's stuck between preparing for the next full moon and enjoying this opportunity to relax while it lasts, to make his own entertainment! ]
You're feeling sleepy?
[ Phoenix Ranger Featherman R Episode 28: Sinister Squad, Saimin Says! He's acting out the scene in which Black Condor is hypnotized by The Emperor's subordinates, and made to turn against his comrades! 'Acting out' in this case meaning he has the classic apparatus for hypnosis, a five-yen coin on a string, which he's dangling in front of Koromaru while the two of them hang out on the 2nd floor. It passes the time, at least, Koro-chan seems to be enjoying himself, and Ken's so distracted he doesn't even notice when Minato decides to come out of his room.
... Probably for the best, considering how damn embarrassed he'd be if he was caught doing this. ]
Really, really sleepy...

Minato came out of his room to check on Ken but when he saw Ken was trying to hypnotize the dog, he couldn't help but crack a small smile. He quietly moved to sit down and watched the coin curiously, he was already starting to doze off as he watched the coin. Who would have thought that Minato would be easy to hypnotize? Certainly no one Minato knew, or even Minato himself. But he didn't mind the idea of being hypnotized by the boy, it wasn't like Ken had any bad intentions. Ken would probably make him do some silly things and snap him out of it. So Minato allowed himself to fall under the spell of hypnosis.]

Just focus on the sound of my voice...
[ Count Ken among those who'd never would've expected this. He's only halfway through the routine as he remembers it (Koro-chan, to no-one's surprise, remains completely unhypnotized) when he notices Minato, and the shock on his face is a sight to see; as he realises that Minato probably saw all of this, just witnessed him trying to hypnotize a dog with a coin of all things, it's hard for him to not feel a little embarrassed.
'A little embarrassed' here means 'starts spluttering like an idiot', naturally. Not that this stops his homemade pendulum from swinging, of course. Back and forth, back and forth, all for Minato to see. ]
Please don't tell the others about this!

[Minato's eyes closed as he focused on the sound of Ken's voice like he requested, his mind slowly growing clouded as he fell into a trance. His eyes opening again when the voice stopped speaking.]
......
[Minato remained silent, his eyes locked on the homemade pendulum as it swayed side to side. His greyish blue eyes had grown a bit clouded as he remained in the lulled state. His mind had grown too hazy to register that Ken was embarrassed and sputtering about.]

Minato's never been the talkative type, that much they all know, but this seems a tad different from the norm; Koromaru seems to notice it too, if the way he sniffs at Minato for a moment, before leaving the pair of them to head downstairs, is any indication. Ken's not sure what to make of the way Minato just keeps staring ahead, until he follows Minato's line of sight to...
no way.
He has an idea of what's happened here now, yes, one that he simply can't bring himself to accept - it's an utterly ridiculous idea, one that doesn't even to begin to make sense, but it's hard to deny what's right in front of him. Nervously, Ken raises the pendulum, wondering if Minato's gaze will follow it, before he leans forward to let it swing directly in front of the other boy's eyes. ]
Minato-san, if you can hear me... Tell me how you feel right now.
no subject
Minato didn't even notice Koro-chan sniffing him before leaving, all that seemed to matter to him was the object and the sound of Ken's voice. He could barely realize that it was Ken's voice. Everything felt so...surreal. Like he was in a dreaming state and everything made sense. Everything Ken said made sense.
His gaze followed the object with a vacant look in his eyes, only speaking when Ken spoke to him.]
....I feel...sleepy...

It's that reaction, empty stare paired with hollow voice, that dispels what little doubt remained in Ken's mind; he has, despite how utterly ridiculous the idea seems, managed to hypnotize Minato. The realisation of just what that means, the fact that Minato really is hanging on his every word, takes some time for him to really process, but one question stands out in his mind: if Minato is really hypnotized, just what can he make him do? ]
Yeah... you feel really sleepy, don't you? Just listening to the sound of my voice helps you feel more and more relaxed. [ More than a little nervous, he swallows, choosing his next words carefully. Technically, he's just following the way Condor Black was hypnotized like a script - with only the barest modifications. ] And the more you listen, the more you find you believe everything I say.
So, um... [ He struggles to remember the next part, quietly pushing aside the issue of whether what he's doing is really okay. ] Repeat after me! I must do as I am told.
Who knows!
Of course he believed what Ken was saying, it made perfect sense after all. When Ken told him to repeat after him, his eyes opened again, still staring at the coin as it swayed back and forth.]
I must do as I am told....
no subject
Yeah, that's right... You have to do as I say because I'm your master, don't you?
[ And, unfortunately, that's where the script in his head comes to an end - unless he feels like ordering Minato to attack Featherman R - so he'll have to wing it from here. He just needs something Minato wouldn't do normally, or at least something that'll make it clear he's not just acting. ]
... Start acting like Koromaru?
no subject
Arf!
[Thank Goodness everyone would be out for a while. Otherwise they both would be looking like fools.]
no subject
Yeah, he's very grateful that no-one else is around. Hell, he never would've done this in the first place if they weren't all alone. Still, this doesn't really feel like enough; he wants to experiment a little more. See how far his influence goes one step at a time.
Starting with something small: ] Okay, how about a chicken now? Oh, and then a pig after that!
[ ... It's not all that creative, but it's a nice way to get the ball rolling. ]
