1. Love Confession. You've been in love with this person either for a while or since day one. You decide to call them out somewhere because you finally want to tell them that you love them.

2. Murder Confession. You killed someone. Maybe it was today, yesterday, a year ago, whenever. Now you're going to tell someone what you did, and maybe you might have to silence them. Unless, of course, they're your partner in crime.

3. Enemy Confession. You've been friends with this person for a while. Now you're going to tell them that it was all a lie.

4. Just Friends Confession. Someone already confessed to you, but you just want to be friends. Just friends. But how do you break it to them?

5. False Confession. You confess to someone about something that isn't actually true.

6. Death Confession. Someone very close to you has died, but you've been keeping it a secret for quite some time. At least, until now.

7. Pregnant Confession. Suddenly, you're pregnant! Break the news to your partner. It doesn't matter if you're a girl or a guy, you're pregnant anyway.

8. Guilt Confession. You've been hiding something for a while, and now it's time to spill it all out.

9. Depression Confession. You've been down and upset for a while, but now you feel like there's something you need to say before it gets worse.

10. FREE FOR ALL. If you get this choice, you are allowed to choose any of the confessions above or a new one!

[Who knew it would come down to this? Lavi glances left and right as he makes his way to the Gates, the few possessions he owned tucked on his person. He always knew that it would come to this one day, but that day had always seemed so far away. The war seemed like such an ingrained part of his life now. What would life be like without it?]

[To think that this whole mess had all started the day the Level 4 attacked headquarters. The day that Lenalee because the first to wield Crystal Innocence. Their comrades had been quick to join the call- Kanda first and many others following. It hadn't escaped the other Exorcists or the Science Division that Lavi never made the leap. That he remained in skill and power equivalent to that fateful journey to Edo.]

[To accept his Innocence like that was to go against his true calling. He was a Bookman first and an Exorcist second. While the conviction had faltered now and again, he had never strayed from the path. And damn if he was going to do it now. But his Innocence had been so demanding lately when he wielded it. Heavy. And each day Lavi worried that it would ask him what it had asked of so many other Exorcists.]

[So it was time. Time to pack up his bags and leave. Time to get rid of all these silly attachments. Time for this record to be over.]

[ Over, just like that? Really, Lavi? You're going to leave? And without saying goodbye, too. Lenalee hasn't expected it, but news travel fast and she hears of it from her brother and other people.

Probably what bothers her the most is the leaving without a word. To her, it's just unfinished business.

So he's going to be facing her once the Gates open, a frown set on her face. ]

[Damn it. Why did it have to be her at the door? He'd take Allen's shocked disbelief or Kanda's grumping any day over Lenalee and that frown. And those hands on her hips. ... And the feeling of what was about to come.]

[Caught red-handed in the worst possible way.]

[The smile on his lips is as carefree as if he was just leaving for his next mission. He raises a hand in greeting as nothing was wrong at all.]

Yo, Lenalee. How'd the mission go? I hadn't heard you were back.

[Lies. Just another topping of them.]

[ She can smell a lie from miles away. ]

Hello, Lavi. [ You're caught. ] Really? I was back two days ago. I saw you in the dining area. [ Lavi must realise it's quite bad if she's tapping her foot. One thought, and those boots can be activated. ]

The mission went fine. How did yours go? [ She steps a little closer as she speaks. ]

[Fleeting fantasies aside, yes, it is quite nerve wracking to see and hear the steady click clack of boot on tile. The way her lips are drawn in a thin line is not all that reassuring either.]

Pretty open and shut. Gate over here, fight a few Akuma, deal with fickle Innocence, blah blah blah. Same old, same old.

[Lavi takes a (hopefully unnoticed) deep breath and settles his game face more naturally on his features. Here goes nothing.]

Musta missed you in the crowd.

[He snaps his fingers with a roguish grin.] How about you and me have lunch tomorrow?

[ She knows how to set people on edge with those shoes... ]

Mm. [ Clasping her hands behind her back. ]

Really?

[ She steps a little closer again; smiling. ] How about dinner tonight? [ Pretending to not see him with his belongings. ]
