[ though the sheer beauty of the savanna outside is a marvel to behold, it's who leona's looking at that has him captivated. in a completely, brand new light--- how did he not realize what kind of person lilia was all this time? sure, his disposition towards malleus is no secret and maybe that blinded him toward his 'retainers' of sorts but. lilia is different. he's his own man, small but not even close to dainty or delicate. fierce and could stand toe-to-toe with him. a real challenge though leona has been quite effort-adverse for a long, long time.

why does his heart flutter like that, upon lilia's agreement? there's that lingering bit of confusion and unease, though now it's more like the kind he's felt before. expectations. will he or will he not meet them? he doesn't want to think about what failure would mean now, of all things. what he wants versus what he needs versus what he can give.

but for now...

he tilts his head into the touch, the smile on his face dreamy and relaxed. shame that this will end too. however. ]

... we're kinda gross. [ leona snorts before he laughs tiredly. ] We should probably clean up, yeah?

[ makes a lot of sense. thankfully there's a separate bathroom in this car, complete with a shower. not like he planned for this to happen but sometimes you also just have to hide somewhere with warm running water running over your entire body. ]

Let's go.

[ but first things first--- he has to pull out. he sighs as he does so with minor regrets. there will certainly be a mess made that someone will have to clean up. it won't be either of them. ]

Legs are kinda stiff. How 'bout yours.

[ he is also still stiff. life is unfair. ]
