ONCE WE'RE DONE, WE PART WAYS. RIGHT?

FAKE DATING MEME

Whether you're trying to make someone else jealous, trying to save a stranger from a creep on the subway, doing a spy mission, running a con, trying to get your parents off your back about being single at a holiday dinner, or any number of other reasons, fake relationships are a hugely popular trope. Whether things stay fake or you surprise yourselves by falling in love for real, the journey from start to finish can be a wild one. Feel free to explore that here. Just make sure you know what you're really getting into before you're in too deep.

• Top level your character. Include any details you might think are relevant. Or don't. As always, we're not the cops.
• Reply to other people's top levels!
• Have fun!

In hindsight, it probably wasn't the smartest move Peter could have pulled, but he was beat six ways to Sunday, and his side was still smarting from the lucky punch the flaming douchenozzle - who until just moments ago had been ripping apart uptown - had landed right in the middle of his gut. Now the villain was on the run, twisting and turning through side streets, and both Peter and Barry were flagging in their chase.

"Shit," Peter muttered under his breath, landing in a crouch as they broke out of the alleyway onto a crowded street. It was absolutely packed full of clubbers, most of whom were too drunk to notice the spidery human who had just landed among them. "He can't have gotten far."

Peter's eyes scanned the street, looking for any sign of the villain they'd given chase to, but - shit, he must have ducked into one of the numerous clubs along the strip, all of whom were pounding with music far too loud for Peter to pick up anything useful with his extended hearing.
