"... I see." It's neither thoughtless or idle despite the simplicity of her response. He makes an interesting analogy, one Adora can unfortunately relate to in a too literal, too uncomfortable manner.

Almost instinctively, she finds herself rubbing at a spot in her neck, the line of scarred skin pulling in the direction of her touch in an all too realistic manner to just be an exercise in bizarre aesthetic choices. Hunger is a word she's too familiar with. It is not something she wants to feel for the duration of this journey and so she finds focus on his question instead.

"For my part, I know nothing," Her eyes wander down at her feet, then towards the path ahead until she respectfully looks at him instead. "-- Except that I've seen it in my dreams, calling over and over. So if what you look for is beyond human understanding, surely this must be the perfect place to start."
