I'VE GOT IT HANDLED. NO, REALLY. SERIOUSLY. I'M SUPPOSED TO BE UP THIS TOWER.

DARING RESCUE MEME

You're in a predicament. That predicament is either: you need to be rescued. Bad. Even if you're technically safe you need to get out of whatever situation you're in. And if you're not safe, well... it's just more important then, isn't it? Your other option of course is that you need to rescue someone. You have to find them, get them out, get them to where they really belong. Or you're like, picking them up from a bad date. WHATEVER. No matter the severity of the situation, be careful how you go about it, huh? We wouldn't want to have any accidents.

• Top level your character. Include any details you might think are relevant. Or don't. As always, we're not the cops.
• Reply to other people's top levels!
• Have fun!

It was another night in Hell's Kitchen. Crime sneaking around the alleyways, preying on the innocent and the unaware. But crime was being hunted too, by a black shadow from above. It was only rumors, whispers that there was a vigilante who brought criminals to justice, despite the paid off cops and corruption. This was one who couldn't be paid off. A man without fear.

This man was just about to start his usual patrol, pausing at the edge of a building and listening to the city. Seeing what it was going to tell him tonight.

Peter, for his part, is all but oblivious to vigilante rumors nowadays. There are always copycats, people either genuinely trying to help or mercenaries mistaken for vigilante justice, and Peter doesn't have the energy to keep up with them all. It's very rare any of them actually pan out, and it certainly isn't as though Peter is looking to have pizza parties with fellow menaces.

So yeah, Peter's well aware that Hell's Kitchen is a bad area, but he doesn't think anything of cutting through a dimly lit alleyway to try and shave off a few minutes from his commute. It wasn't like he wouldn't be able to take care of himself, in the event something did happen...
