FORMAL OR INFORMAL, WITH MUSIC OR WITHOUT, YOU COULD BE AT A GLAMOUROUS GALA WHILE A SINGER CROONS SOFTLY OR IN THE SILENCE OF YOUR OWN LIVING ROOM. WHEREVER YOU ARE, YOU HAVE THE URGE TO DANCE. DID YOU ASK YOUR PARTNER OR DID THEY ASK YOU? HAVE YOU GOT TWO LEFT FEET OR IS THE VIENNESE WALTZ YOUR JAM? IT COULD BE AWKWARD, IT COULD BE ROMANTIC. EITHER WAY IT'S CUTE AS HELL.

Felicity was finally at a place in her life where things felt settled. Her relationship with Oliver, while not perfect was on a better track. She was also feeling more comfortable in her skin as CEO of Smoak Technolgies. It was her position as CEO that brought her to New York.

There was an exhibit, and She was here to check things out. She wandered around looking at the various displays, stopping every so often to admire them.

Empire State University had an exhibition every year. They were on the leading curve in a plethora of categories, and they certainly wanted to showcase their students. It was a great networking opportunity, one that Peter had never particularly wanted to attend, but he knew it was important to try if he wanted to get anywhere in the scientific community. So yeah, he's there, standing uncomfortably in a suit next to his exhibition board. It's chock full of his theorems, mostly educated guessing with lots of genetic equations backing it up - all about programming in the genome and how it could relate to the X gene, to curing genetic ailments...

Peter sipped a glass of sparkling cider - the school really had gone all out for this - and smiled awkwardly at some of the people who passed by his exhibit. Most didn't stop, scared off by the equations and lack of a tangible demonstration. Well, he was only a second year, he hadn't been given a budget to work with.
